• Each Conference has 16 teams• These teams play against each other throughout

football season (August-December) until there is a winner in each Conference

What is the super bowl?

• The Super bowl is where the winners from each conference (AFC and (NFC) play against each other to see who will be name “World” champion

• Super Bowl I was played on January 15, 1967• The Green Bay Packers won (From Wisconsin)• Not only is the game important, but also who

performs the halftime show and who runs commercials

When and Where is it?

• It always takes place on the first Sunday in February (Super bowl Sunday).

• This year it’s on Sunday February 5th (Monday, February 6th here)

• Held at different stadiums• This year it’s in Houston, Texas
