Sunnyside News Worship Service ▪ Guest Potluck – If you are new to Sunnyside or visiting from out of town, we would like to invite you to get to know our church better over lunch which will be held in the Willamette room following our second service.

▪ Please pray for the families and friends of: Roger Van Tassell who passed away May 11. A memorial service will be conducted here at Sunnyside Church Tuesday, June 18, 11:00 AM. Lynn Drury, a former member, who passed away May 9. A memorial service will be conducted at The Village Church June 22, 3:00 PM.

▪ This evening at 7:00, our 38th annual Strawberry Vespers will take place! Take time to come and enjoy this musical program with a variety of musicians in the area. You will be blessed. Immediately following, we will enjoy a feast of strawberry shortcake!

▪ There will be an Agape Service (Communion) Friday, June 21, 6:30 PM, here at Sunnyside Church. We will meet together on the outside patio. Come expecting a blessing and an unusual twist at the end.

▪ A Church Business Meeting will be conducted June 26, 7:00 PM. The agenda consists of:: 1) Financial Review 2) Membership 3) ReNew Project 4) Facilities Project 5) Administration Policy Changes 6) Church Vision. Please take time to attend; your input is vital to our church operations.

▪ Student Aid applications – It’s that time of year again! If you are in need of financial aid to attend one of our schools, please fill out an application which is available from the table in the narthex or the church office 503-252-8080. Applications are due in the office by June 24.

▪ We are actively seeking volunteers to join our Audio and Video teams. Experience is not required. If you would like to join one of these teams, please contact the church office, 503-252-8080, or email info@SunnysideAdventist.org.

▪ SunnyCity Children's Fair with Ben Roy, the science guy, will be on Sunday, June 23, 1:00-4:00 PM, on the campus of Portland Adventist Academy. This is Sunnyside's outreach to the local neighborhood, and we need your help. Volunteers … lots of volunteers are needed. A table will be set up in the lobby with volunteer sign-up sheets. We are collecting glue sticks to give out and you can drop them off at the table when you sign up!

▪ Vacation Bible School will be conducted June 28-30. Register at https://urlzs.com/PRac. On June 22, 12:45 PM, there will be a potluck meeting of all volunteers in the Fellowship Hall. If you are a volunteer, please plan to attend and bring food for the potluck.

▪ Today’s floral tribute today is presented by Larry and Lorie Ramey in celebration of their 31st anniversary, and in memory of Lorie’s mother, Elfriede Koehn, who passed away in April.
