I f you ask us about the number of confer-ence rooms there are at Gradonna****S, we won’ t be ab le to g ive you a prec ise answer. Because your event wi l l take p lace where the condi t ions for i t a re best su i ted. A deci-s ion we make together, a f ter car r y ing out extens ive d iscuss ions. The venue could, of course, be one of our f ive mul t i - funct iona l conference rooms. Or the a l l - round g lazed „Wei tb l ick - V is ion” on the top f loor of our tower. I t is a lso qu i te poss ib le that your event is he ld at 2,500 metres above sea leve l in the h igh a lp ine Adler lounge - Eagle ’s Lounge. Or d i rect ly in the mounta in v i l lage of Ka ls in the Johann-Stüdl-Hal l . The under-ly ing idea behind th is f lex ib i l i ty in choice and s ize of your venue is that every semi-nar is specia l in i ts own r ight and therefore deserves a specia l ambience - regard less of how many people wi l l be at tending. Fact of

the mat ter is , that even the smal lest groups are made just as welcome at Gradonna****S as events wi th 400 at tendees or more. On such b ig occas ions, we can even p lace our ent i re resor t a t your exc lus ive d isposa l .

DENKSTUBE – THINK TANK 1 Our Denkstube-Th ink Tank number 1 measures 260 m² wi th a ce i l ing he ight of up to 3.5 m, of fer ing theat re-sty le seat ing for c i rca 200 persons (par l iament seat ing 160 and U-form 100 persons) .

DENKSTUBE – THINK TANK 2 Measur ing 75 m² wi th 3.5 m in room height , th is room of fers the per fect ambience for events for up to 80 persons wi th theat re seat ing and in b lock form (par l iament seat ing 60 and U-form 30 persons) .

DENKSTUBE – THINK TANK 3 50 m² prov ides ample space for events for up to 60 persons wi th theat re seat ing and in b lock form (par l iament seat ing 45 and U-form 25 persons) .

ADLERLOUNGE – EAGLE’S LOUNGE

High up, on top of the Cimaross Peak at 2,600 metres above sea leve l , l ies the Adler lounge at the h ighest po int o f the Ka ls-Matre i sk i resor t . In addi t ion to Gradonna****S, i t is our second event venue, where every conference and meet ing auto-mat ica l ly becomes a summit meet ing of knowledge, exchange of in format ion and personal in teract ion. The Adler lounge’s fu tur is t ic arch i tecture is in de l iberate con-t rast to the t rad i t iona l a lp ine bu i ld ing sty le. Th is apparent cont rad ict ion between moder-n i ty and t rad i t ion does not conform to conservat ive l ines, but perhaps that is what makes i t so very exc i t ing.

The Adler lounge of fers v is ionary premises that can be per fect ly adapted for seminars

and inc ludes fabulous v iews over 60 three thousand metre-h igh peaks and the mighty Grossglockner. Fur thermore, you and your group wi l l savour f i rs t c lass cu is ine, a sty l -ish lounge and h igh ly communicat ive bar. Therefore fu l f i l l ing a l l requ i rements needed for successfu l seminars and meet ings.

The fact that you and your guests ar r ive and leave in our own gondola l i f t , is just a minor s ide- issue, a l though a very in terest ing one. Especia l ly when you cons ider th is is how we t ranspor t you to your even ing event a t a la ter hour, before return ing back to Gradonna****S. Or whisk ing you and your seminar guests up to a sunr ise breakfast ear ly in the morn ing.

JOHANN-STÜDL-HALL

Johann Stüdl was the son of a Prague merchant fami ly. He f i rs t came to Ka ls at Großglockner in 1867 where he qu ick ly acqui red a reputat ion as a mounta ineer and benefactor. The people of Ka ls can thank h im for creat ing the thence new route on the Grossglockner over the south-western r idge, known to th is day as the Stüdlgrat . The name of the f i rs t man to sca le many peaks in the Grossglocker Range has a lso been g iven to the conference ha l l in the recent ly bu i l t Ku l turhaus (Cul ture House) of Ka ls, where we can a lso organ ise your event to four s tar super ior s tandards.

The Johann-Stüdl-Hal l is an idea l event venue, not on ly because of i ts s tate of the ar t s tage and conference technology, or i ts capaci ty for up to 300 persons. But above

a l l , i ts Swiss p ine ambience. In addi t ion to i ts impress ive appearance, Swiss p ine is a lso known to pos i t ive ly a f fect the human organ ism. Someth ing our forefathers were even aware of , as they made sure that potent ia l l y heated debates were a lways he ld in the ambience of a room c lad in sooth ing Swiss p ine. Sc ient i f ic s tud ies have in fact shown that th is par t icu lar type of wood pos i t ive ly a f fects st ress and regenerat ion capabi l i t ies of the human body.Per fect , in other words, for in tens ive semi-nars, workshops, presentat ions and confer-ences.

We recommend a ba lanced mix between focused work and re lax ing breaks dur ingyour seminar, workshop or meet ing at Gradonna****S because nobody is ab le to work at fu l l t i l t a l l day long. Smal l breaks are much more ef fect ive in ensur ing the suc-cess of your event .
