STANDUP PADDLEBOARD ADVENTURE Adult, Age 13+This introductory course will familiarize you with safety and equipment orientation, basic paddling and flat water & wave technique. Open to beginners through advanced students with all equipment included. Must be comfortable & adept in water.

STANDUP PADDLEBOARDING (SUP'ing) originated from early Polynesian heritage and is now the fastest growing water sport on the planet. One stands on a board similar to a surfboard and uses a paddle to move through the water. This sport, done both in waves and on flat waters, is not considered an extreme sport and is far less challenging than surfing. People of all types are enjoying SUP'ing for its relation to surfing, ease of progression, immense fitness benefits and soundless access to beautiful waterways, evoking a fulfilling sense of nature immersion.

BASIC STEP CLASS Age 14+Join Maria in this fun, overall workout utilizing a STEP. This workout starts with a warm-up followed by a STEP workout using easy to follow STEP choreography that will keep you moving to the beat of the music while working up a sweat!

MOVIE MAGIC! Summer Film Camp Ages 8-15Learn movie secrets in this week-long summer camp for kids age 8-15. Designed as a hands-on program, everyone will create an animated claymation movie and a short film with props, acting and special effects! Hone up on your soccer skills and keep up with your practice in preparation for the 2011-2012 season! UKEE LOVE! Raincoast Education Society Ages 6-13This camp led by Ukee enthusiast, Laura Timmermans from the Raincoast Education Society (RES) is all about enriching your experience of Ucluelet through community-mapping! We will visit The Wild Pacific Trail, Olsen Bay Mudflats, our local coastal temperate rainforest and go snorkeling in the intertidal zone...followed by a crazy beach photo-shoot! On the last day of camp, the kids will help paint a small mural illustrating what they love about Ucluelet to be displayed at Ukee Days!
