Safety instructions for batteries

J CAUTION! RISK OF EXPLOSION! Never recharge the batteries!

J Batteries must not be short-circuited. This could result in over-heating and risk of fire or explosion.

J Remove a depleted battery from the product immediately; otherwise there is an increased risk of leakage!

J Keep batteries out of the reach of children; do not throw them into fire; do not short-circuit them; and do not take them apart.

J Ensure polarity is correct (+ and -).J Only use the recommended battery.J If these instructions are not complied

with, the battery may be discharged beyond its cut-off voltage. There is then a risk of leakage. If the battery has leaked into your device, please remove it immediately in order to prevent any damage to the product!

J Wear protective gloves! If they come into contact with skin, leaked or damaged batteries could cause chemical burns; you should therefore wear suitable protective gloves at all times if such an event occurs.

J Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and mucous membranes. If you come into contact with battery acid, rinse the affected spot with plenty of water and / or consult a doctor immediately!

J WARNING! Switch the product OFF before inserting the battery (LCD display 5 is off.)

J Remove the battery from the device if it is not in use for a long period of time.

J Do not, on any account, short-circuit the terminals.

Q Before start of operation

Q Insert / replace battery

Tip: Flashing numbers indicate a discharged / flat battery.Tip: When changing the battery, the LCD display 5 may experience faults. Remove the battery and insert it again after waiting more then 30 seconds.

j Push open the lid to the battery compartment 8 (see Fig. B).j Remove the old battery.j Insert the new battery into the battery compartment and

ensure correct polarity (+ and -). Make sure that the plus terminal points outwards.

j Push the lid to the battery compartment 8 shut again (see Fig. B).

Q Preparing the calliper

j Loosen the locking screw 4 so that you can move the calliper.

j Clean all measuring surfaces and the calliper rod. Otherwise, faulty measuring results may occur due to, for example, humidity.

j Check that all keys, switches and the LCD display 5 work correctly.

Q Starting up the device

Q Using the calliper

j Loosen the locking screw 4 by turning it anti-clockwise.j Push the external measuring jaws 11 and the internal

measuring jaws 2 together.j Switch the LCD display 5 on by pressing the ON / OFF key 10.j Press the inch / mm key 3 to set the unit of measurement

(inch or mm) you wish to use. Either mm or inch will appear to the right of the figures in the LCD display 5 .

j Press the key to obtain the zero setting (ZERO) 9 in order to reset the LCD display 5 to zero.

Measuring an object from the outside:j Move the external measuring jaws 11 apart by turning the

handwheel 7 outwards anti-clockwise. Place the external measuring jaws 11 against the object to be measured.

j Turn the handwheel 7 inwards clockwise. Move the external measuring jaws 11 together until they touch both sides of the object you want to measure. Please ensure that you do not damage the object you want to measure by subjecting it to too much pressure.

Measuring an object from the inside:j Place the internal measuring jaws 2 against the object

you want to measure. j Turn the handwheel 7 outwards anti-clockwise. Move the

internal measuring jaws 2 apart until they touch the object on both its inner sides. Please ensure that you do not damage the object you want to measure by subjecting it to too much pressure.

Measuring the depth of an object:j Move the depth-measuring blade 6 out of the calliper.j Put the depth-measuring blade 6 in position until it touches

the surface (e.g. inside a hole).j Slide the body of the calliper downward until you feel

resistance.j Ensure that you do not damage the depth-measuring blade

6 or the object you want to measure by exerting too much pressure on them.

j The LCD display 5 now displays the dimensions.j After carrying out the measurement, move the external

measuring jaws 11 / internal measuring jaws 2 together again by turning the handwheel 7 inwards clockwise.

j Switch the LCD display 5 off again by pressing the ON / OFF key 10 . Tip: The LCD display 5 automatically switches itself off after approx. 3 minutes.

j Tighten the locking screw 4 again by turning it clockwise until you feel some resistance.

Q Examples of use

Tip: When measuring, always proceed as described in the chapter on using the calliper.

Comparison of plug and socket (see fig. C):j First measure the dimensions of the plug.j You may wish to make a note of the measurement.j Then measure the socket.

Deviation from a reference value (see fig. D):j Measure a reference object (in this case A).j Leave the measuring jaws 2 / 11 in this position and press

the key to obtain the zero setting (ZERO) 9 .j Then measure the second object. The LCD display 5 now

shows the deviation of the measurement of the second object to that of the reference object (A).

Measuring the thickness of the floor of an object (see fig. E):j First measure the depth of the object.j Leave the depth blade 6 in this position and press the key

to obtain the zero position (ZERO) 9 .j Now measure the entire object. The LCD display 5 now

shows the thickness of the floor of the object.

Measuring the distance between two identical holes (see fig. F):j First measure one of the two, equally sized holes.j Leave the measuring jaws 2 / 11 in this position and press

the key to obtain the zero position (ZERO) 9 .j Now measure the total dimension. The LCD display 5 now

shows the average distance.

Q Troubleshooting

The device contains sensitive electronic components. That is why it experiences interference when in close proximity to radio transmission devices. If any indication errors appear in the display, remove such devices out of the proximity of the calliper.Electrostatic discharge could result in malfunctions.j When such malfunctions occur, remove the battery for a

short while and re-insert.

Failure Cause Solution

Five digits flash simultaneously every second.

The battery voltage is lower than 2.75 V.

Replace the battery in line with the chap-ter on Inserting / replacing battery.

The LCD dis-play 5 does not continue to count.

Faulty wiring or circuit

Remove battery and re-insert after 30 seconds.

Failure Cause Solution

Nothing is dis-played on the LCD display 5 .

1. LCD display is switched off.

2. Battery is the wrong way round or the battery contact is poor.

3. The battery voltage is lower than 2.4 V.

1. Switch the LCD display on by pressing the ON / OFF key 10 .

2. Remove the bat-tery and insert / replace it in line with the terminals and the chapter Inserting / replac-ing the battery so that it touches all contacts.

3. Replace the bat-tery in line with the chapter In-serting / replac-ing the battery.

Q Cleaning and maintenance

j Clean the calliper before and after using it.j Do not immerse the calliper into water. Liquids can damage

the calliper.j Use a dry cloth to clean the casing; never use petrol,

solvents or cleaning agentsj Always switch the LCD display off when not using the calliper.

This will extend the life of the battery.j Keep away from electrical current and electrically charged

pens to prevent damage to the chip.

Q Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.

Faulty or used batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive 2006 / 66 / EC. Please return the batteries and / or the device to the available collection points.

Batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations. J OPREZ! OPASNOST OD EKSPLOZIJE! Nikada ne punite baterije!

J Baterije se ne smiju staviti u kratki spoj. U protivnom se mogu pregrijati, zapaliti ili eksplodirati.

J Praznu bateriju odmah izvadite iz proizvoda. Postoji poveana opasnost da baterija istee!

J Bateriju drite podalje od dohvata djece, ne bacajte ju u vatru, ne stavljajte u kratki spoj i ne rastavljajte ju.

J Pazite da polovi budu stavljeni ispravno (+ i -).

J Upotrebljavajte iskljuivo navedenu vrstu baterije.

J U sluaju ne pridravanja uputa baterija bi se mogla isprazniti ispod donje granice napona. Tada se javlja opasnost da baterija istee. Ako je baterija istekla u ureaju odmah je izvadite kako biste sprijeili oteenja na proizvodu!

Napomena: Kod izmjene baterije moe doi do smetnji 5 na LCD zaslonu Izvadite bateriju i stavite je ponovno nakon vie od 30 sekundi.

j Otvorite poklopac leita baterija 8 (pogledaj sliku B). j Izvadite staru bateriju.j Umetnite novu bateriju u leite pazei pritom na ispravno

stavljene polove (+ i -). Plus pol mora biti s vanjske strane. j Zatvorite opet poklopac leita 8 baterija (pogledaj sliku B).

Q Priprema pominog mjerila

j Otpustite sigurnosni vijak 4 kako biste mogli pomicati pomino mjerilo.

j istite sve mjerne povrine i ljestvicu pominog mjerila suhom pamunom krpom. U protivnom moe doi do pogrenih rezultata u mjerenju npr. zbog vlanosti zraka.

j Provjerite dali su sve tipke, sklopka i LCD zaslon 5 potpuno ispravni.

Q Ukljuivanje

Q Upotreba pominog mjerila

j Otpustite sigurnosni vijak 4 , tako da ga okreete u smjeru suprotnom od kazaljke na satu.

j Stisnite vanjske eljusti 11 / unutarnje eljusti 2 jednu prema drugoj.

j Ukljuite LCD zaslon 5 tako da pritisnete tipku za 10 UKLJUIVANJE / ISKLJUIVANJE.

j Pritisnite tipku inch/mm 3 , kako bi odredili jedinicu mjere (inch ili mm), koju elite koristiti. Na LCD pokazivau 5 pojavit e se ili mm ili inch.

j Pritisnite tipku za namjetanje na nulu (ZERO) 9 , kako biste vratili LCD zaslon 5 natrag na nulu.

Mjerenje predmeta izvana:j Razmaknite vanjske eljusti 11 tako da okreete kotai za

j Okreite kotai za pomicanje 7 u smjeru kazaljke na satu prema unutra. Gurajte vanjske eljusti 11 jednu prema drugoj, tako da s obje strane dodiruju predmet koji elite izmjeriti. Pazite da ne pritisnete previe, kako ne biste otetili predmet mjerenja.

Mjerenje predmeta iznutra:j Stavite unutarnje eljusti 2 iznutra na predmet koji elite

izmjeriti.j Okreite kotai za pomicanje 7 u smjeru suprotnom od

kazaljke na satu prema van. Razmaknite unutarnje eljusti 2 tako da dodiruju obje unutranje strane predmeta. Pazite da ne pritisnete previe kako ne biste otetili predmet mjerenja.

Mjerenje dubine predmeta:j Izvucite dubinomjer 6 s pominog mjerila.j Stavite dubinomjer 6 na predmet koji elite izmjeritttako

da dodiruje povrinu (npr. unutar otvora).j Gurajte tijelo pominog mjerila prema dolje dok ne osjetite

otpor. j Pazite da ne pritisnete previe kako ne biste 6 otetili

dubinomjer ili predmet mjerenja. j LCD zaslon 5 tada prikazuje mjere.j Nakon mjerenja ponovno spojite vanjske eljusti

11 / unutarnje eljusti 2 tako, da okreete kotai za pomicanje 7 u smjeru kazaljke na satu prema unutra.

j Iskljuite LCD zaslon 5 ponovno, tako da pritisnete tipku za UKLJUIVANJE / ISKLJUIVANJE 10 . Napomena: Nakon otprilike 3 minute LCD zaslon se 5 automatski iskljuuje.

j Pritegnite opet vrsto sigurnosni vijak, 4 tako da okreete u smjeru kazaljke na satu, dok ne osjetite otpor.

Napomena: Pri mjerenju uvijek postupajte u skladu s poglavljem Upotreba pominog mjerila.

Usporedba izmeu utinice i otvora (pogledaj sliku C):j Najprije izmjerite utinicu.j Zabiljeite izmjerene vrijednosti.j Nakon toga izmjerite dimenzije otvora.

Odstupanje referentne vrijednosti (pogledaj sliku D):j Izmjerite neki referentni predmet (ovdje A).j Ostavite eljusti 2 / 11 u tom poloaju i pritisnite tipku za

namjetanje na nulu (ZERO) 9 .j Nakon toga izmjerite drugi predmet. LCD-zaslon 5 sada

pokazuje odstupanje mjera drugog predmeta od mjera referentnog predmeta (A).

Mjerenje debljine dna predmeta (pogledaj sliku E):j Najprije izmjerite dubinu predmeta.j Ostavite dubinomjer 6 u tom poloaju i pritisnite tipku za

namjetanje na nulu (ZERO) 9 .j Nakon toga izmjerite cijeli predmet. LCD-zaslon 5 sada

pokazuje debljinu dna predmeta.

Mjerenje razmaka izmeu dvije identine rupe (vidite prik. F):j Najprije izmjerite jedan od dviju jednakih otvora.j Ostavite eljusti 2 / 11 u tom poloaju i pritisnite tipku za

namjetanje na nulu (ZERO) 9 .j Nakon toga izmjerite ukupne dimenzije. LCD-zaslon 5

sada pokazuje mjere srednjeg razmaka.

Q Uklanjanje smetnji

Ureaj je sastavljen od osjetljivih elektronskih dijelova. Stoga se mogu pojaviti smetnje zbog radio-ureaja, koji se nalate u blizini. Ako se na zaslonu pojave pogreni podaci, uklonite takve ureaje iz blizine pominog mjerila.

Elektrostatsko pranjenje moe izazvati smetnje. j U sluaju takvih smetnji na kratko izvadite bateriju te je

ponovno umetnite.

Pogreka Uzrok PomoPet znamenki titra istovremeno je-danput u sekundi.

Napon baterije je manji od 2,75 V.

Promijenite bateriju kako je navedeno u poglavlju Umetanje / zamjena baterije.

LCD-zaslon 5 ne broji dalje.

Pogreno spajanje. Izvadite bateriju i stavi-te je ponovno nakon 30 sekundi.

Pogreka Uzrok PomoNema prikaza na LCD-zaslonu 5 .

1. LCD-zaslon je iskljuen.

2. Baterija nema ispravan kontakt ili je pogreno umetnuta.

3. Napon bate-rije je manji od 2,4 V.

1. Ukljuite LCD-zaslon tako da pritisnete tipku za 10 UKLJU-IVANJE / ISKLJUIVANJE.

2. Izvadite bateriju i stavite polove kako je navedeno u po-glavlju Umetanje / zamjena baterije, tako da ima sve kontakte.

3. Zamijenite bateriju kako je navedeno u poglavlju Umeta-nje / zamjena bate-rije.

Q Odravanje i ienje

j Oistite pomino mjerilo prije i nakon svake upotrebe.j Ne uranjajte pomino mjerilo u vodu. Tekuina moe otetiti

Ugroavanje okolia kroz pogreno uklanjanje baterija!

Baterije se ne smije uklanjati zajedno s kunim otpadom. Iste mogu sadravati otrovne teke metale i obvezno ih je uklanjati sukladno odredbama za poseban otpad. Kemiki znakovi tekih metala su slijedei: Cd = kadmij, Hg = iva, Pb = olovo. Stoga predajte istroene baterije na komunalno mjesto za sabiranje otpada.

J ATENIE! PERICOL DE EXPLOZIE! Nu ncrcai niciodat bateriile!

J Bateriile nu au voie s fie supuse unui scurt circuit. Urmarea pot fi supranclzirea, pericol de incendiu sau spargerea.

J Scoatei imediat bateriile goale din produs. Exist pericol mrit de scurgere!

J Bateriile nu se in la ndemna copiilor, nu se arunc n foc, nu se supun unui scurt circuit i nu se demonteaz.

J La introducerea bateriilor avei grij la polaritatea corect (+ i -).

J Folosii exclusiv tipul indicat de baterie.J n caz de nerespectarea indicaiilor,

bateriile se pot descrca n afara tensiunii lor finale. Atunci apare pericolul scurgerii. Dac bateria s-au scurs n aparatul dvs., scoatei-o imediat pentru a mpiedica deteriorarea produsului!

J Purtai mnui de protecie! Bateriile scurse sau deteriorate pot cauza n contactul cu pielea arsuri. De aceea, purtai neaprat mnui de protecie.

J Evitai contactul cu pielea, ochii i mucoasele. n cazul unui contact cu acidul din baterie cltii locul respectiv cu mult ap i / sau apelai la un medic!AVERTISMENT! Produsul nainte de a

Q Introducerea /schimbarea bateriilor

Indicaie: Cifrele, care plpie, indic o baterie descrcat / goal. Indicaie: La schimbarea bateriei pot aprea defeciuni la afiajul LCD 5 . Scoatei bateria i introducei-o dup mai mult dect 30 de secunde.

j Deschidei capacul compartimentului de baterii 8 (vezi fig. B). j Scoatei bateria veche.j Introducei bateria nou respectnd polaritatea (+ i -) n

compartimentul de baterii. Avei grij ca polul plus s indice n exterior.

j nchidei din nou capacul compartimentului de baterii 8 (vezi fig. B).

Q Pregtirea ublerului

j Deurubai urubul de siguran 4 , pentru a putea mica ublerul.

j Curai toate suprafeele de msurare i bara de msurare a ublerului cu o lavet uscat din bumbac. n caz contrar pot aprea rezultate greite de msurare datorit umiditii aerului.

j Verificai toate tastele, ntreruptoarele i afiajul LCD 5 cu privire la funcionarea ireproabil.

j Deurubai urubul de siguran 4 , prin rotirea acestuia contrar sensului acelor de ceasornic.

j mpingei ciocurile exterioare 11 / interioare 2 unul ctre cellalt.

j Pornii afiajul LCD 5 , prin apsarea tastei PORNIT- / OPRIT 10. j Apsai tasta inch / mm 3 , pentru a seta unitatea de

msurare (inch sau mm), pe care dorii s o folosii. Apare mm sau inch pe afiajul LCD 5 .

j Apsai tasta pentru setarea pe zero (ZERO) 9 , pentru a reseta afiajul LCD 5 pe zero.

Msurarea unui obiect din exterior:j Desfacei ciocurile exterioare de msurare 11 , prin

ntoarcerea n exterior a roii de reglare 7 contrar sensului acelor de ceasornic. Punei ciocurile exterioare de msurare 11 pe obiectul de msurat.

j ntoarcei roata de reglare 7 n interior, n sensul acelor de ceasornic. mpingei ciocurile exterioare de msurare 11 unul ctre cellalt pn cnd, ating obiectul de msurat pe ambele pri. Avei grij s nu deteriorai obiectul de msurat exercitnd o presiune prea mare.

Msurarea unui obiect din interior:j Punei ciocurile interioare de msurat 2 din interior pe

obiectul de msurat.j ntoarcei roata de reglare 7 n exterior, contrar sensului

acelor de ceasornic. Desfacei ciocurile interioare de msurare 2 pn cnd, ating obiectul de msurat pe

j mpingei corpul ublerului n jos pn cnd, simii o rezisten.

j Avei grij s nu deteriorai tijele de msurare a adncimii 6 sau obiectul de msurat exercitnd o presiune prea mare.

j Afiajul LCD 5 indic acum adncimea.j Dup efectuarea msurrii mpingei ciocurile exterioare de

msurare 11 / interioare 2 din nou unul ctre cellalt prin ntoarcerea roii de reglare 7 n interior, n sensul acelor de ceasornic.

j Oprii din nou afiajul LCD 5 , prin apsarea tastei PORNIT- / OPRIT 10 . Indicaie: Dup cca.3 min. afiajul LCD 5 se stinge automat.

j Strngei din nou urubul de siguran 4 prin ntoarcerea lui n sensul acelor de ceasornic pn cnd simii o rezisten.

Q Remedierea defeciunilor

Aparatul este compus din subansambluri electronice sensibile. De aceea, este posibil s fie deranjat de aparate de transmisie din imediata apropiere. Dac apar afiaje eronate pe display, nlturai asemenea aparate din apropierea produsului.Descrcrile electrostatice pot cauza defeciuni de funcionare. j n caz de asemenea defeciuni, scoatei pentru scurt timp

bateria din aparat i introducei-o din nou.Eroare Cauz RemediereCinci cifre apar concomitent o dat pe secund.

Tensiunea bateri-ei este sub 2,75 V.

Schimbai bateria con-form capitolului Intro-ducerea/schimbarea bateriei.

Afiajul LCD 5 nu numr mai departe.

Comutare erona-t.

Scoatei bateria i introducei-o din nou dup 30 de secunde.

Niciun afiaj pe afiajul LCD 5 .

1. Afiajul LCD este oprit.

2. Bateria nu are niciun contact corect sau este introdus in-vers.

3. Tensiunea bateriei este sub 2,4 V.

1. Pornii afiajul LCD, prin apsarea tastei PORNIT- / OPRIT 10.

2. Scoatei bateria i introducei-o din nou conform polaritii i capitolului Intro-ducerea/ schimba-rea bateriei astfel nct, s ating toa-te contactele.

3. Schimbai bateria conform capitolului Introducere/schim-bare baterie.

Q Curare i ntreinere

j Curai ublerul nainte i dup fiecare utilizare.j Nu introducei ublerul n ap. Lichidul poate deteriora

ublerul.j Pentru curarea carcasei folosii o lavet uscat i n niciun

caz benzin, diluani sau alte substane de curare.j Oprii ntotdeauna afiajul LCD atunci cnd, nu folosii

ublerul. Astfel se prelungete durata de funcionare a bateriei.

j Nu supunei ublerul tensiunii i protejai-l contra creioanelor de tensiune. n caz contrar cipul din ubler poate fi deteriorat.

Q nlturare

Ambalajul este din materiale ecologice, care pot fi nlturate n punctele locale de reciclare.

Posibiliti de nlturare ale produsului dvs. le putei afla n localitatea dvs. sau la administraia local.

Pentru a proteja mediul nconjurtor nu aruncai aparatul dvs. la gunoiul menajer atunci cnd nu mai poate fi folosit, ci ducei-l la punct corespunztor de salubrizare. V putei informa cu privire la punctele de colectare i orarul acestora la o instituie competent.

Bateriile defecte sau consumate trebuie reciclate conform Directivei 2006 / 66 / EC. napoiai bateriile i / sau aparatul prin intermediul punctelor de colectare indicate.

Bateriile nu au voie s fie aruncate n gunoiul menajer. Ele pot conine metale grele toxice i se supun de aceea tratamentului deeurilor speciale. Simbolurile chimice ale metalelor grele sunt cele care urmeaz: Cd = Cadmiu, Hg = Mercur, Pb = Plumb. De aceea, predai bateriile consumate la un punct de colectare comunal.

Q Garanie

Aparatul a fost produs cu atenie conform unor standarde stricte de calitate i verificat nainte de livrare. n cazul defectelor la nivelul acestui aparat avei drepturi legale fa de vnztorul aparatului. Aceste drepturi legale nu sunt limitate de garania noastr prezentat n continuare.Pentru acest aparat v oferim o garanie de 3 ani ncepnd cu data achiziiei. Perioada garaniei ncepe la data achiziiei. V rugm s pstrai bonul de cas original. Acesta reprezint dovada achiziiei.Dac n decurs de trei ani de la data achiziiei acestui produs se nregistreaz un defect de material sau de fabricaie, v reparm sau nlocuim gratuit produsul la alegerea noastr aparatul. Dreptul de garanie se stinge dac produsul este deteriorat, utilizat sau ntreinut n mod necores-punztor. Garania se aplic numai pentru defecte de material i de fabricaie. J Batterien drfen nicht kurzgeschlossen werden. berhitzung, Brandgefahr oder Platzen knnen die Folge sein.

J Entfernen Sie eine erschpfte Batterie umgehend aus dem Produkt. Es besteht erhhte Auslaufgefahr!

J Halten Sie die Batterie von Kindern fern, werfen Sie sie nicht ins Feuer, schlieen Sie sie nicht kurz und nehmen Sie sie nicht auseinander.

J Achten Sie auf die richtige Polaritt (+ und -).

J Verwenden Sie ausschlielich den angegebenen Batterietyp.

J Bei Nichtbeachtung der Hinweise kann die Batterie ber ihre Endspannung hinaus entladen werden. Es besteht dann die Gefahr des Auslaufens. Falls die Batterie in Ihrem Gert ausgelaufen sein sollte, entnehmen Sie diese sofort, um Schden am Produkt vorzubeugen!

J Schutzhandschuhe tragen! Ausgelaufene oder beschdigte Batterien knnen bei Berhrung mit der Haut Vertzungen verursachen; tragen Sie deshalb in diesem Fall unbedingt geeignete Schutzhandschuhe.

J Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt mit Haut, Augen und Schleimhuten. Bei Kontakt mit Batteriesure splen Sie die betroffene Stelle mit reichlich Wasser ab und / oder suchen Sie einen Arzt auf!WARNUNG! Schalten Sie das Produkt

Q Vor der Inbetriebnahme

Q Batterie einsetzen / austauschen

Hinweis: Blinkende Ziffern weisen auf eine entladene / leere Batterie hin. Hinweis: Beim Wechseln der Batterie kann es zu Strungen der LCD-Anzeige 5 kommen. Entnehmen Sie die Batterie und setzen Sie sie nach mehr als 30 Sekunden wieder ein.

j Schieben Sie den Batteriefachdeckel 8 auf (siehe Abb. B). j Entnehmen Sie die alte Batterie.j Setzen Sie eine neue Batterie unter Beachtung der Polaritt

(+ und -) in das Batteriefach ein. Achten Sie darauf, dass der Pluspol nach auen zeigt.

j Schieben Sie den Batteriefachdeckel 8 wieder zu (siehe Abb. B).

Q Messschieber vorbereiten

j Lsen Sie die Sicherungsschraube 4 , damit Sie den Messschieber bewegen knnen.

j Reinigen Sie alle Messflchen und die Messschieberleiste mit einem trockenen Baumwolltuch. Andernfalls kann es, beispielsweise durch Luftfeuchtigkeit, zu fehlerhaften Messergebnissen kommen.

j Prfen Sie alle Tasten, Schalter und die LCD-Anzeige 5 auf einwandfreie Reaktionen.

Q Inbetriebnahme

Q Messschieber verwenden

j Lsen Sie die Sicherungsschraube 4 , indem Sie sie gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehen.

j Schieben Sie die ueren Messschnbel 11 / inneren Messschnbel 2 zusammen.

j Schalten Sie die LCD-Anzeige 5 ein, indem Sie die EIN- / AUS-Taste 10 drcken.

j Drcken Sie die inch / mm-Taste 3 , um die Maeinheit (inch oder mm) festzulegen, die Sie nutzen mchten. Es erscheint entweder mm oder inch in der LCD-Anzeige 5 .

j Drcken Sie die Taste zur Nullstellung (ZERO) 9 , um die LCD-Anzeige 5 auf Null zurckzusetzen.

Gegenstand von auen messen:j Schieben Sie die ueren Messschnbel 11 auseinander,

indem Sie das Stellrad 7 gegen den Uhrzeigersinn nach auen drehen. Setzen Sie die ueren Messschnbel 11 an den zu messenden Gegenstand an.

j Drehen Sie das Stellrad 7 im Uhrzeigersinn nach innen. Schieben Sie so die ueren Messschnbel 11 so weit zusammen, bis sie den zu messenden Gegenstand an beiden Seiten berhren. Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie den zu messenden Gegenstand nicht durch zu viel Druck beschdigen.

Gegenstand von innen messen:j Setzen Sie die inneren Messschnbel 2 von innen an den

zu messenden Gegenstand an.j Drehen Sie das Stellrad 7 gegen den Uhrzeigersinn nach

auen. Schieben Sie so die inneren Messschnbel 2 so weit auseinander, bis sie den Gegenstand an beiden inneren Seiten berhren. Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie den zu messenden Gegenstand nicht durch zu viel Druck beschdigen.

Tiefe eines Gegenstandes messen:j Schieben Sie die Tiefenmessschaufel 6 aus dem Messschieber.j Setzen Sie die Tiefenmessschaufel 6 an den zu messenden

Gegenstand an, bis sie die Oberflche berhrt (z.B. innerhalb eines Loches).

j Schieben Sie den Krper des Messschiebers herunter, bis Sie einen Widerstand spren.

j Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie die Tiefenmessschaufel 6 oder den zu messenden Gegenstand nicht durch zu viel Druck beschdigen.

j Die LCD-Anzeige 5 zeigt nun die Mae an.j Schieben Sie nach der Durchfhrung der Messung die ueren

Messschnbel 11 / inneren Messschnbel 2 wieder zusammen, indem Sie das Stellrad 7 im Uhrzeigersinn nach innen drehen.

j Schalten Sie die LCD-Anzeige 5 wieder aus, indem Sie die EIN- / AUS-Taste 10 drcken. Hinweis: Nach ca. 3 Minuten schaltet sich die LCD-Anzeige 5 automatisch ab.

j Drehen Sie die Sicherungsschraube 4 wieder fest, indem Sie sie im Uhrzeigersinn drehen, bis Sie einen Widerstand spren.

Q Anwendungsbeispiele

Hinweis: Gehen Sie zum Messen immer gem dem Kapitel Messschieber verwenden vor.

Vergleich zwischen Stecker und Loch (siehe Abb. C):j Nehmen Sie zunchst die Mae des Steckers.j Notieren Sie sich ggf. den Messwert.j Nehmen Sie anschlieend die Mae des Lochs.

Abweichung einer Referenzgre (siehe Abb. D):j Nehmen Sie die Mae eines Referenzgegenstandes (hier A).j Belassen Sie die Messschnbel 2 / 11 in dieser Position

und drcken Sie die Taste zur Nullstellung (ZERO) 9 .j Nehmen Sie anschlieend die Mae des zweiten

Gegenstandes. Die LCD-Anzeige 5 zeigt nun die Abweichung der Mae des zweiten Gegenstandes zu der Mae des Referenzgegenstandes (A) an.

Messen der Dicke des Bodens eines Gegenstandes (siehe Abb. E):j Messen Sie zunchst die Tiefe des Gegenstandes.j Belassen Sie die Tiefenschaufel 6 in dieser Position und

drcken Sie die Taste zur Nullstellung (ZERO) 9 .j Nehmen Sie nun die Mae des gesamten Gegenstandes.

Die LCD-Anzeige 5 zeigt nun die Dicke des Bodens des Gegenstandes.

Messen des Abstandes zwischen zwei identischen Lchern (siehe Abb. F):j Nehmen Sie zunchst die Mae eines der beiden

gleichgroen Lcher.j Belassen Sie die Messschnbel 2 / 11 in dieser Position

und drcken Sie die Taste zur Nullstellung (ZERO) 9 .j Nehmen Sie anschlieend die Gesamtmae. Die LCD-Anzeige 5 zeigt nun die Mae des mittleren

Abstandes an.

Q Fehler beheben

Das Gert enthlt empfindliche elektronische Bauteile. Daher ist es mglich, dass es durch Funkbertragungsgerte in unmittelbarer Nhe gestrt wird. Treten Fehlanzeigen im Display auf, entfernen Sie solche Gerte aus der Umgebung des Gertes.

Elektrostatische Entladungen knnen zu Funktionsstrungen fhren. j Entfernen Sie bei solchen Funktionsstrungen kurzzeitig die

Batterie und setzen Sie sie erneut ein.

3. Die Batterie-spannung liegt unter 2,4 V.

1. Schalten Sie die LCD-Anzeige ein, indem Sie die EIN- / AUS-Taste 10 drcken.

2. Entnehmen Sie die Batterie und setzen Sie sie gem Polung und Kapitel Batterie einsetzen / austauschen so ein, dass sie alle Kontakte berhrt.

3. Tauschen Sie die Batterie gem Kapitel Batterie einsetzen / austau-schen aus.

Q Wartung und Reinigung

j Reinigen Sie den Messschieber vor und nach jedem Gebrauch.j Tauchen Sie den Messschieber nicht ins Wasser. Flssigkeit

kann den Messschieber beschdigen.j Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung des Gehuses ein trockenes

Tuch und keinesfalls Benzin, Lsungsmittel oder Reiniger.j Schalten Sie die LCD-Anzeige immer aus, wenn der

Messschieber nicht verwendet wird. So verlngern Sie die Betriebsdauer der Batterie.

j Setzen Sie den Messschieber nicht unter Spannung und halten Sie ihn von elektrischen Stiften fern. Andernfalls kann der Chip im Messschieber beschdigt werden.

Q Entsorgung

Die Verpackung besteht aus umweltfreundlichen Materialien, die Sie ber die rtlichen Recyclingstellen entsorgen knnen.

Mglichkeiten zur Entsorgung des ausgedienten Produkts erfahren Sie bei Ihrer Gemeinde- oder Stadtverwaltung.

Umweltschden durch falsche Entsorgung der Batterien!

Batterien drfen nicht ber den Hausmll entsorgt werden. Sie knnen giftige Schwermetalle enthalten und unterliegen der Sondermllbehandlung. Die chemischen Symbole der Schwermetalle sind wie folgt: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Quecksilber, Pb = Blei. Geben Sie deshalb verbrauchte Batterien bei einer kommunalen Sammelstelle ab.
