There are many jobs and careers that you can work in, e.g. chefs/cooks, catering, fashion and textiles, child care, teaching, food industry, tourism, and health and nutrition.
Music
Music not needed for entry per se, but entrance tests apply in related courses, therefore you may need to perform above Grade 4 in piano or singing etc. and answer music related questions in an interview all of which would not be possible without having studied music.

Area 1:
Mental Health Awareness for Parents
1 hour online course for parents.
Content Overview:
-Module 1: The Changing Needs of our Young People
-Module 2: Introduction to Mental Health
-Module 3: Youth Mental Health in Ireland
-Module 4: Promoting and Supporting Youth Mental Health for young people in our lives
In order for the school to achieve recognition for this course a minimum of 12-30 parents
must have engaged in the online workshop.
Area 2:
Supporting Young People's Mental Health
1 hour workshop delivered by a Jigsaw staff member.
Participants will:
-Gain an understanding of the key issues impacting on the mental health and well being of young people.
-Understand how to recognise some of the signs that a young person may be struggling with their mental health.
-Learn the value of listening as a way of supporting young people.
-Increase knowledge of the supports available in their local area.
In order for the school to achieve recognition for this course a minimum of 12-30 parents must have engaged in the online workshop.
Area 3:
Self Care for Parents:
1 hour online course for parents which can
be delivered by a Jigsaw staff member
or can be completed online.
Participants will:
-Have a greater understanding of what self care is.
-Have a greater understanding of the importance of looking after their own well
being in their role as a parent.
-Be more aware of their own self care needs
-Be able to develop their own self care plan
