Death rates from CHD have been falling in the UK since the late 1970s. But decrease in mortality rates were relatively less than some other developed countries which had high rates. These falls need to be explained to better predict the future trends and to find better policy options. Modelling is one of the ways to do it.

Death rates from CHD have been falling in the UK since the late 1970s. But decrease in mortality rates were relatively less than some other developed countries which had high rates. These falls need to be explained to better predict the future trends and to find better policy options. Modelling is one of the ways to do it.
