I would like to welcome warmly all students of the Faculty of
Pharmacy at the Medical University of Warsaw. For ninety years
our faculty has been engaged in education and research of
pharmaceutical sciences, graduating several generations of well-educated pharmacists who
have been working in research and development fields as well as in the healthcare system.
Nowadays, our faculty is recognized as one of the leading academic centers in Poland. Our
curriculum of pharmacy meets the requirements of the Ministry of Science and Higher
Education of the Republic of Poland. As the students here you will benefit from the
innovative optional teaching programs: analytical pharmacy, clinical pharmacy, industrial
pharmacy and pharmaceutical biotechnology, drug design, pharmaceutical cosmetology with
esthetic medicine, pharmaceutical and environmental toxicology. A well-equipped library and
a recently built recreation center will help you study and keep fit. The location of our faculty
in the heart of the capital city of Warsaw is another advantage. It will give you a good
opportunity to discover Polish history and culture as well as to participate in the vibrant
academic life. I hope that studying at our Faculty will contribute to your professional, social
and cultural development so that when you have finished the studies you will leave Warsaw
with fond memories.
THE ENGLISH PHARMACY DIVISION
Why should you study pharmacy at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Medical University of
Warsaw?

Advanced teaching, clinical and experiential placements as well as business skills programs
provide our students with a well-rounded and professionally relevant pharmacy degree,
putting them in high demand with employers. Our five-year undergraduate pharmacy course
leads to the degree of Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) and, after a further six-month pre-
registration training in an approved pharmacy, to being registered as a pharmacist in Poland.
Polish registration is recognized in other member states of the European Union.
As a Master of Pharmacy student you will:
