PROGRAMS OFFERED IN COLLABORATION WITH ALGONQUIN COLLEGENURSINGThis program is for experienced registered practical nurses who want to complete the nursing program at the University of Ottawa.

Once you’ve completed the program at Algonquin, go to Step 2.

Step 2: Apply at the University of Ottawa Requirements• Ontario college diploma in practical nursing

• One year (900 hours) of work in a related field

• Completed program at Algonquin (Step 1)

• Biology 4U (minimum 65% required), Chemistry 4U (minimum 65% required), and one of the following: Functions 3M, Functions 3U or one Mathematics 4U course

DIGITAL JOURNALISM, PUBLIC RELATIONSThese programs are designed to provide a theoretical, analytical and practical education. Algonquin journalism and public relations graduates receive up to 45 advanced standing units (credits) in the joint University of Ottawa program.

Where to apply? These flexible programs allow students to start their program at either Algonquin or uOttawa.

uOttawa requirements• Minimum 70% average (equivalent to 2.7 at college)

LAWRENCE COLLEGEMUSICTo encourage students to continue their education at the university level, we have agreements in place with Cambrian College for students in the Music Performance program and with St. Lawrence College for students in the Music and Digital Media program admitted to the University of Ottawa’s bachelor of music or honours bachelor in music programs. You may be eligible for 39 to 51 advanced standing units based on your college program and the grade you obtained.
