This continuous (daily) project is initiated with the aim of helping students who are facing financial difficulties.
'Suspended Meals' is a project, carried out with the cooperation of AIKOL Cafe, whereby we encourage all academic and administrative staffs of AIKOL to purchase food for the aforesaid students. If you are interested to participate, the modus operandi is very simple. When you purchase your own food at the cafe, you just have to purchase another one which will be called 'suspended meal'. But the 'Suspended meal' will not be given to you there and then upon your purchase. Instead, you will be given a coupon, which you fill up and paste on a sticky board in the AIKOL Cafe area.
Everyone else who are also interested to participate will also be following the same steps and at the end of the day, there will be many coupons on the sticky board. Any students who needs a free meal may just take any of the coupons pasted on the board and redeem the food (as stated on the coupon) at the counter.
