With Annie. Fairly polite, muttered a bit about how we'd find him dead one day. Encouraged to come along for his re - entry on Wednesday, he said he would. Gave him a blanket and put another one over Annie Maughan, who was asleep.

A8 client I have seen a few times, a ship's cook. Still plans to go to Glasgow and ask around the docks for work. Tried to convince him this wasn't very realistic but he seemed to think it would be quite easy. Encouraged to return to Lithuania, to no avail.

Asking for a blanket. Suggested instead we refer him to CSTM night centre, but he didn't seem too keen, talked about it being too noisy and smelling. Then talked about his family, but couldn't stay there because of his drinking. Then went on to talk about the Liberal Democrat MP Mr. Oaten, saying he shouldn't have resigned but stayed on and not ended his career. Had a sleeping bag and he then went ot the soup run for a blanket.
