Mrs. Winslow's Soothing Syrup

the stressed 19th-century mothers in baby care
• Consisted of Morphine sulphate (65 mg/ounce), sodium carbonate, spirits foeniculi, and aqua ammonia

• The nose would run, flushing out viral infections.
