With patchy rainfall this wet season, there has been a slow response of the favourable perennial grasses and a higher proportion of annuals and unfavourable perennials.
Do you know how to manage this for best production through to the next wet?
The hands on “Stocktake” workshop will give you the tools to balance your available pasture with animal demand.
The “Stocktake Plus” app for smart phones/tablets will help make these calculations quicker and easier and can be used for many other applications on your property.
Please download “Stocktake Plus” app to your phone/tablet before the workshop.
Stocktake is a one day, practical, training workshop that provides you with skills and tools to monitor your grazing land condition and complete a forage budget.
Preparing for the dry season. How much grass do I have?
A monitoring package that ‘takes stock’ of your grazing resources and points to improved management decisions.
