From the Family of Lt. Mike Green:Unfortunately, we lost our beloved Mike on Sunday, September 2nd to stage IV Bladder Cancer.

We just wanted to thank everyone for all the support and prayers over the past couple of months. The outpouring of support is so touching and much appreciated by our family. Our hearts are broken by the loss of a wonderful, gracious family man but we know he is in a better place where there is no pain and suffering.

We appreciate the overwhelming response that was received at the fundraising benefi t and wish we could have been there to partake in the event. We are moved by the generosity that has been displayed from the creation of the Mike Green Benefi t Committee, donations from local businesses & individuals, food donations, letters, cards, prayers and support.

We want to thank all the doctors, nurses, and hospital staff at Port Huron & Mercy Hospitals. Everyone was accommodating to our needs and it won’t be forgotten.

The last couple of months were a reminder to us that “No One Fights Alone”! Thank you to everyone for your support during such a diffi cult time.
