The winding package is in constant contact with support rollers. The support rollers rotate the winding package to create winding action. During the winding, owing to contact and separation from rollers and changes in temperature, very high static charges are generated. This will invite risk of spark / fire, shocks to operator and dust attraction. Hence static charges need to be eliminated completely from the film before it is rewound. Solution Valstat ® VR 80 DC bar can be used to eliminate the effect of static charges on the film as shown in the figure above. The Valstat ® VR 80 DC bar can be used effectively in the working range up to 600 mm and with line speeds up to 1000 m /min.

During the winding, owing to contact and separation from rollers and changes in temperature, very high static
charges are generated. This will invite risk of spark / fire, shocks to operator and dust attraction. Hence static
charges need to be eliminated completely from the film before it is rewound.
Solution
Valstat®
VR 80 DC bar can be used to eliminate the effect of static charges on the film as shown in the figure
above. The Valstat®
VR 80 DC bar can be used effectively in the working range up to 600 mm and with line
speeds up to 1000 m /min.
