START BUILDINGYOUR LEGACYTODAY
LEGACY™ OIL TOOLS OVERVIEWSince its foundation in 2006, Legacy™ Oil Tools has become a top-tier manufacturer of premium quality, energetic oil tools. The Legacy team’s expertise in designing, developing, manufacturing and testing oil tools spans decades, dating back to the mid-70s. Our customers call on us with confidence to provide power charges, power charge ignitors, pipe recovery equipment, detonators, and bi-directional boosters.
The acquisition of Connor Oil Tools in 2015 provided a full line of Cast Iron Bridge Plugs, Cement Retainers, and #10 & #20 Setting Tools.
POWER CHARGES AND IGNITORS
Legacy’s power charges and ignitors (similar in design to the GO ignitor) have been used in numerous applications and are specified for use in horizontal wells by operators in the Fayetteville shale. Our power charges are popular with operators due to their shear time reliability and consistency. Service companies appreciate the ease of cleaning for redress and the extended tool life.

Technical Information
Ignitor with Ground Clip
Firing Procedures
Legacy has developed a new ignitor that is more user friendly
1. Eliminates the need for ground wire/wires.2. No trying to wrap the ground wire in just the right position to make a good ground.3. No worries on the ground wire creeping up and making ground to the spring while
downhole and during tool assembly.4. Easy installation, just remove the temporary ground wire that's pre-attached and place
into the firing head. Note: Make sure the ½" hole (located in the firing head) is dry and clean before inserting the ignitor.
1. Slowly raise the amperage to between .380 and .480 Amps. The ignitor will fire in this range (regardless, if the amp gauge moves or not) but continue to raise amperage until you get .600 Amps. Engineers should notice movement on the gauge by then if not continue up to 1.0 Amps
NOTE: Start shear time when the gauge is in the .380 Amps to .400 Amps range.
2. You will notice the spring insulator has changed from green to red color. Red- Dual Resistor (new style) Black insulator- Dual Resistor (Ground Clip)
3. As always, keep your firing head clean where the ignitor is seated and the Quick Change clean and dry, inside and out
PIPE RECOVERY
All required components necessary for your pipe recovery job, as well as shock subs and cutter detonators will be available for purchase. The new, improved design of Legacy’s cutters guarantees effective cutting and ease of assembly. A detonator adapter is included with each cutter.

CAST IRON BRIDGE PLUGS ANDBAKER STYLE SETTING TOOLSA complete line of cast iron bridge plugs for use with Baker Style and GO Style setting tools is available. Cement retainers for use with Baker mechanical set bridge plugs are available as well.
Legacy’s plugs and tools are supplied by a division that has been manufacturing plugs and setting tools for over 40 years.
LEGACY™ BRIDGE PLUGSThe LEGACY™ Bridge Plugs have proven to be a product that can be depended on. It has excellent running characteristics and secure sets. The plug can be set on different types of wireline pressure setting tools.
The plugs are designed for rapid drill-out while maintaining sufficient strength during the set. This plug sustains high pressures and temperatures.
Available for 2 3/8" - 20" Casing *Set with Legacy Brand Power Chargers and Ignitors
FEATURES:• Electric wireline set• Drillable• Cast iron construction• One piece slips - hardened to depth of wicker only• Sets in any grade casing including P-110• Form-fitting metal back-ups prevent rubber extrusion• For temporary or permanent service• Ratcheting lock ring holds setting force
EXTRA RANGE BRIDGE PLUGThe Extra Range Bridge Plug is a specialty plug for running through restrictions and then setting securely in larger diameters below. These restrictions such as seating nipples often force tubing to be pulled before well service can take place. The Extra Range Bridge Plug eliminates this in many cases.
Should the plug need to be removed, it is recommended to use a mill. A plug of such a broad setting range requires it to be made of mild steels and a milling process would be more acceptable.
Available in 1.406" OD - 2.75" OD*Set with Legacy Brand Power Chargers and Ignitors
FEATURES:• Electric wireline set• Millable• Sets in any grade casing including P-11O• For temporary or permanent service• Ratcheting lock ring holds setting force• Runs through restrictions to set in larger diameters
MODEL "P" & "E" H-M BRIDGE PLUGThe Legacy brand H-M Bridge Plug is set using hydraulic power to set the top slips and then mechanical pull to complete the set. The Model P is for high pressure and temperature while the Model E sustains moderate temperature and pressure.
A mechanical setting tool is not required because the setting mechanism is built-in. A ball is placed in the tubing string plugging off the built-in equalizing ports. Pressure is then applied to set the top slip and then mechanical pull is applied to finish the set. Releasing the tubing string from the plug is done by simply turning to the right.
Full tubing I.D. is available after releasing from the plug allowing other equipment to extend through the end of the tubing string.
Available Model P for 4 1/2" - 13 3/8" CasingModel E for 4 1/2" - 7" Casing
FEATURES:• Drillable• Cast iron construction• One piece slip• Sets in any grade casing including P-110• Metal back-up to prevent rubber extrusion• For temporary or permanent service• Ratcheting lock ring holds setting force• Excellent for deviated wells
MODEL "B" CEMENT RETAINERThe Model B Cast Iron Drillable Cement Retainer’s modular, field proven design makes it a versatile tool in a variety of applications. The SVCR (Sleeve Valve Cement Retainer) may be set mechanically or on a wireline setting tool by changing the top slips. The SVCR also converts to a B-1 Bridge Plug by replacing the sleeve valve with a solid plug.
Available for 4 1/2" Casing Available in Wireline Set and Mechanical Set
FEATURES, ADVANTAGES, AND BENEFITS:• Cast iron drillable design• Simple, surface-controlled valve automatically closes when the stinger is removed• Converts between mechanical or wireline set by changing top slips• Converts to a Model B-1 Bridge Plug• Temperature rating to 325° F• Differential pressure rating to 10,000 psi thru 7 5⁄8”• Allows pressure testing before squeeze• Valve protects sensitive zones in low-fluid wells• Convertibility reduces inventory requirements• Fast drill out saves rig time
APPLICATIONS:•Cementing•Stimulation•Well Abandonment•Temporary or Permanent zone isolation
MODEL "B" MECHANICAL SETTING TOOLThe Model B Mechanical Setting Tool is designed to run and set the Model B Sleeve Valve Cement Retainer and Model B-1 Bridge Plug. It is easy to operate and has low maintenance.
This tool incorporates both a stinger seal and built-in snap latch allowing the tool to be latched into the retainer with set-down weight and released with up-strain and/or right hand rotation. This tool can be run time after time by simply moving the drive housing into the running position. Disassembly is not required every time.
Available for 4 1/2" - 13 3/8" Casing
MODEL "BT" WIRELINE PRESSURE SETTING TOOLThe Legacy brand provides a line of wireline pressure setting tools to continue meeting your needs with a quality dependable alternative to what the oil patch currently has.
The Legacy brand operates the same as always. No new procedures are required. It is a safe tool for your daily operation needs at an affordable price.

BI-DIRECTIONAL BOOSTERSAND DETONATORSOur uniquely formed bi-directional boosters take advantage of an E.I. DuPont “taper jet” design which provides a uniform, high-output jet and increases the output of Legacy’s boosters in excess of four times that which is provided by other boosters on the market. The “taper jet” design provides a benefit on the receiver side of the booster as well by focusing energy from the donor to initiate the receiving booster. This efficient transfer of energy between the two boosters provides a reliable detonation wave required for a dependable transfer.
Our HMX bi-di is designed and tested to shoot over a 7” air gap between the donor and receiving booster, while the detonating cord on each booster has a 0.250” air gap from the powder column. When new powder is received at our facility, Legacy tests the transfer over a 9” air gap before the powder is released into production. This lot-by-lot testing ensures our boosters are superior in transfer reliability over all other bi-directional boosters on the market.
