Domain I: Pattern of Classroom Use increased. Frequency/Design of Instructional Setting, Student Mastery of Technology Applications and Online Learning all decreased.
Domain II: Capabilities of Educators increased. Educator Preparation/ Development, Professional Development Experiences, Access to Professional Development and Level of Understanding all decreased.
Domain III: No area increased. Planning and Budget decreased.
Domain IV: Other Classroom Technology increased. Technical Support and Distance Learning Capacity both decreased.
Conclusion
Overall the STaR Chart scores for all four domains have decreased. Since 2006-2007, the domain I scores dropped 2 points, the domain II scores dropped 2 points, the domain III scores dropped 2 points and the domain IV scores dropped 1 point
The NAMS-N administrators will need to evaluate the causes of these declines, set goals for the new year, and provide training and equipment to reach these goals, in order to stay in compliance with the new Texas Long Range Plan.
