• Access to emergency equipment should NEVER be blocked

• Dirty glassware should never be left in the bottom of the sink

• Liquids should never be stored above 5’6” or above any solid chemicals

• All chemical containers must be labeled in English

• Keep all work areas clear of clutter; keep all aisles clear of all chemicals

• All chemicals should be placed in their assigned storage areas at the end of each workday

• Wastes should be properly labeled and kept in their proper containers

• Promptly clean up all spills; properly dispose of the spilled chemical and cleanup materials.

• Contact the Environmental Safety Office at x4444 for assistance.

• Horseplay and running in the laboratory are strictly forbidden
