Fred Teale, brother of Thos . Teale, of Leon, passed a way at his home in Los Angeles. California, last Saturday, being o ver seventyeight years old at the time of his death . Mr. TE'ale was born in England in 18:~ G, Rnd rame to the Unit ed States in 1843. i'l1r. Teale came to De<'atur county in 1859. He enlistl'd in the union a r my during the Civil war, making a splendid record as a soldier. 1\tr. Teale left Decatur county many year~ ago fo r California, Los Angeles having been his home for somP time. He had been in poor health for ::-everal months and had gradually failrd until d eath re~ultcd.
