Changing our huddles to electronic forms has not only saved us paper, it has also saved us time. Changes can be made instantly and saving on a shared drive means we also don’t have to reprint or redistribute
Where possible, I make sure my staff use the shuttle bus services between sites rather than using a taxi. Not only is this more sustainable, I don’t have to spend time requesting (and then confirming) that my taxi is booked
We had so many unused items on the ward, but we didn’t want to throw them away, so I uploaded them to Warp It. They were claimed within a few hours – I had more space in my department and someone else had gained a necessary item in theirs
