FOURTEENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME JULY 5, 2020

THE RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE will be held at the Parish Center on Friday, July 24th, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

CEMETERY BOARD VACANCY: There is a vacancy on the St. Joseph Cemetery Board. The board meets monthly, the second Friday of the month at 2:00 p.m., to guide the maintenance and development of Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Board members will also be active in the maintanence and improvement of the cemetery. If you are interested, please contact the office either by phone at (740) 477-2549 or email at [email protected] to inform them of your interest.

GRATITUDE: Thanks to John Goode of J.S. Goode Landscaping for providing pavers to beautify the area next to the columbaria and thanks to Mark Massie of J.D. Moelle for providing seed and labor in planting grass where various projects have impacted growth.

COMMUNITY KITCHEN was served by our parish on June 29th. A wonderful crew of volunteers helped to prepare and box a carry-out meal. Thank you for all your help and for contributing desserts. We pray that we will be back to dining in soon!

COMMUNITY CUPBOARD: St. Joseph Parish, along with the Knights of Columbus will be sponsoring a Community Cupboard to be placed at our Parish Center at 777 East Ohio Street. We will be collecting food and toiletries to stock our cupboard.

WHEN: Sunday, July 5 through Sunday, July 12. Place in collection box located in Church during Mass times. Saturday, July 11 from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at the Parish Center.

Please drive by and drop off nonperishable food items or toiletries. During the collection on Saturday, Father Ted will bless our Community Cupboard and we will have a ribbon cutting event.
