EASTER MESSAGE FROM YOUR PASTOR...
“As a deer longs for flowing streams, so my soul longs for you,
O God.”
(Psalm 42.1)
The waters of new life flow constantly within us: deep, refreshing and
renewing the most stagnant of situations. God’s life cannot be stopped!
Transformation and change are always possible with our awesome God.
When the waters of this world lead to stagnation do not search for life
where life cannot be found.
“While they were perplexed about this, suddenly two men in
dazzling clothes stood beside them. The women were terrified
and bowed their faces to the ground, but the men said to them,
‘Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not
here, he has risen.’” (Luke 24.4-6)
Go to God first for Life then turn to take on the problems that exist.
Seeing the world through the lens of faith you will be renewed by di-
vine vision and empowered to confront what lies ahead. Learn to see
with God’s eyes, not with human emotions. Draw upon the springs of
new life given you by Christ – faith, charity, and love.
“Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not
here, he has risen.” (Luke 24.6)
On behalf of Fr. Daniele and our parish staff, I wish you a blessed and
holy Easter!
Fr. Pat

SAVE THE DATE - PASTA DINNER - MAY 5
IN SUPPORT OF OUR YOUTH TRIP! We are fortunate to be sending 15 high
school students with Fr. Daniele to a
Catholic Youth Conference at the
Catholic Franciscan University of
Steubenville, Ohio in July. The young
people are excited and have been preparing for their
trip, which will include over 4,000 young people from
across North America celebrating
their Catholic faith. On Friday,
May 5 our parish will be hosting a
Pasta Dinner to help fundraise
toward the cost of this trip. Save
the date and help support our
young people in their fundraising efforts!
"If Jesus is risen, then - and only then - has something truly new happened, something that
changes the state of humanity and the world. Then He, Jesus, is someone in whom we can
put absolute trust; we can put our trust not only in his message, but in Jesus himself, for the
Risen One does not belong to the past, but is present today, alive."
- Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, Easter Sunday, 2012
CONFIRMATION CANDIDATES Our sincere congratulations to Mikayla
Sewell and Connor Tait who received
the Sacrament of Confirmation at the
