It’s our pleasure to invite you again to the forth coming 3rd AIEES & Temporal Bone Dissection at the historic city

of Hyderabad, the “Pearl city”. As you all know with the advent of Endoscope the way we practice Rhinology has seen a

tremendous change and renement in the last 2 decades. We foresee a similar revolutionary change in treating Ear

diseases in the near future with the help of the endoscope. The minimally invasive, scarless surgical procedures are

surely but denitely gaining the ground in otological practice and we want to expose the junior faculty members and our

post graduates to this exciting new development. At the same time microsurgical exposure also is planned as we feel

that, this skill too is necessary to the otologist of the future.

Delegates can get beneted by the presence of renowned international and national faculty, Dr Daniele Marchioni

and his Team from Verona, Italy, Dr M Mohan Reddy of Hyderabad. Both being the Board Members of International

Working Group on Endoscopic Ear Surgery (IWGEES) with an accumulated experience of over 2 decades in

Endoscopic Ear Surgery (EES) apart from their rich Microscopic expertise. Dr Mohan Kameswaran of Chennai the

founder President of the Indian Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (IAOHNS), and Dr Sameer K

Bhargava the current President of Association of Otolaryngologists of India(AOI) both also being the accomplished

1.Dr Mohan Reddy and Dr Daniele Marchioni have established the “ HYDERABAD VERONA ADVANCED

ENDOSCOPIC EAR and LATERAL SKULL BASE GROUP, Mohan Reddy-Marchioni Initiative” and decided to start the

“ m&m-EES Full Otology Fellowship” @Nova ENT Hospital, with this event. The Fellowship programes can be

anywhere between 7 - 90 days and a long term fellowship 6 – 12 months. The selected candidates will work at Nova

ENT Hospital Hyderabad and Verona Italy. This is the 1st Course under this Banner and candidates can enrol their

names for the fellowship programs.

2 As you know we already have an Indian working group of Endoscopic Ear Surgeons. In this conference we will get

afliation to IWGEES. Indian members who have the requisite experience will be enrolled as International members.

3.We invite all the otologists who are already practicing Endoscopic Ear Surgery to participate through their

presentations during this event.

The conference aims to provide in depth orientation of the intricate anatomical details of the Temporal bone and middle

ear ventilation pathways through both endoscopic and microscopic dissection which will be conducted by Dr Daniele

Marchioni.

All in all we hope to showcase the unfolding scenario in Otology with the advent of Endoscope, get the right balance of

Oto-Neuro Lateral Skull Base surgical techniques and the delegates can get benetted by the rich content of the

Course along with the Live Surgical Demonstrations.

During the days of the meeting we are planning to perform demonstrative dissections to show the endoscopic anatomy and the microscopic anatomy of the ear and lateral skull base, in order to improve the anatomical knowledge of the attending doctors. Endoscopic Ear and Lateral Skulbase Course” slated to be held

on 6th,7th,8th of March 2020 at Nova ENT Hospital. I hope this

event will serve as the platform for deliberating and discussing

about the unfolding future of Otology with the emergence of

Endoscope as the prime tool and Microscope continuing with its

contributory role. I am glad to invite you and look forward to
