The Fundamental Questions for the Syn-od: 1) How is the

“journeying togeth-er” happening in our parish? How is the Holy Spirit inviting our parish commu-nity to grow in :journeying together”? [cf. Acts 2:14-21]

2) What enables or hinders you from speaking up courageously, candidly, and responsibly in our lo-cal Church and in society? What space is there in our parish for the voice of the people including ac-tive and inactive members of our faith?

3) How are the baptized members of our parish able to participate in the mission of the Church to pro-claim the Gospel? What hinders people from being active in our parish? How is authority or govern-ance exercised in our parish? How are teamwork and co-responsibility put into practice in our par-ish?

Prayer for Veterans

Dear Lord, today we honor our veterans, worthy men and women who gave their best when they were called up onto serve and protect their country. We pray that you will bless them for their unselfish service in the continual struggle to preserve our freedoms, our safe-ty, and our country’s heritage, for all of us. Amen Are you a Veteran in need of assistance and/or in-formation? You can find both at the Veterans One Stop Center of WNY, 1280 Main Street, Suite 204, Buffalo 14209. 716.890.0110
