Pray the Rosary in the Month of May In this month of May, I would like to recall the importance and beauty of the prayer of the holy rosary. Reciting the Hail Mary, we are led to contemplate the mysteries of Jesus, that is, to reflect on the key moments of his life, so that, as with Mary and St. Joseph, he is the center of our thoughts, of our attention, and our actions. It would be nice if, especially in this month of May, we could pray the holy rosary together in the family, with friends, in the parish, or some prayer to Jesus and the Virgin Mary!
-POPE FRANCIS
WEEKDAY MASS SCHEDULE CHANGE
Beginning Wednesday, MAY 22nd, morning Mass will be celebrated at 7:30 AM until school resumes in August. Friday, MAY 24TH at 8:00 AM will be the last school Mass of the year. There will also be a 7:00 AM Mass that morning as well.
CHANGE TO PARISH OFFICE HOURS
Effective Friday, May 31st, the Parish Office will be closing at 1:00 PM. THIS IS A PERMANENT CHANGE TO FRIDAY OFFICE HOURS. The office hours for Monday through Thursday will remain the same.
On behalf of The Exchange Club of North Will County, we would like to thank you, Father Maciej, and all the parishioners of St. Andrew. We asked for your help and you exceeded our expectations. We were met with an overflow of support and generosity from the parishioners of St. Andrew and collected $455. We will be splitting the monies from all the donations during the month of April, which is Child Abuse Awareness month, between Guardian Angels in Joliet and BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse). Donations are still going on at any local restaurants for the remainder of the month. On behalf of the recipients of these donations, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the compassionate people at St. Andrew. As a result of your charity, we are able to make these donations to the two organizations mentioned above for the children in abusive situations. This project would not have been as successful if not for your involvement. You have made a direct impact in the lives of these children. Thank you once again for your generosity. God Bless, Gary H fman Fundraising Chairman

For Widowed Men & Women
Dates/Locations: June 22 & 23 St. Julie, Tinley Park July 20 & 21 Holy Family, Inverness September 7 & 8 Mary Queen of Heaven, Elmhurst
After a divorce or a death of a spouse, what used to be US is no longer. It is a life transition that is neither welcome nor easy. And, it is necessary to transition to ME. New Beginnings is a self-help support group where people help people through the difficult experience of death of a spouse, divorce, or in the process of divorce. We are a non-profit ministry of St. Raphael Catholic Church in Naperville. Our focus is on the Spiritual, Intellectual and Emotional growth of our members. Our mission is to provide a supportive and safe environment for all our members, as they adjust to their new roles as a single person again. There are many types of support groups for the divorced and widowed. We encourage you to give us a chance and see if we fit your needs. Members say that New Beginnings has "saved my life". We meet weekly from 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday evenings at St. Raphael in Naperville. Come to the back of the building and look for the parish offices. Signs will be posted.

WE WOULD LIKE TO SAY THANK YOU TO OUR GALA GUESTS, Those who came to support our annual gala, to eat a great dinner, enjoy the wonderful company and help raise much-needed funds for SAS, we thank you. You came because you care about our school, our staff, and most importantly our students.
TO OUR VOLUNTEERS,
To those of you who worked hard to create a magical
experience for our gala guests, we thank you. You
assembled baskets, assisted with registration and check
-out, and helped in other unseen ways.
TO THOSE WHO CONTRIBUTED,
In any fashion, be it through donating a bottle of wine
or an entire stock-your-bar, providing basket items,
running errands or simply asking “what can I do,”
thank you. Every little detail and donation sincerely
makes a difference and isn’t forgotten. TO OUR GALA CO-CHAIRS,
Susan and Theresa. There are not enough words to
express our gratitude for the amount of work that went
into making the gala an incredible, successful, fun
night. They worked for months and months to execute
a meaningful and engaging event. Their dedication,
hard work, creativity, and the uniqueness’s that each
brought to the gala had helped raise money, made the
night so much fun, and most importantly, helped build
a stronger community. They have shared their time
and talents this year in a way that cannot be measured.
A simple thank you will never be enough, but from the
bottom of our hearts, we say THANK YOU!
May God continue to bless you, all!

St. Andrew the Apostle We Care Food Pantry
The St. Andrew We Care Food Pantry is open every Wednesday from 10:00 am. until 12:30 p.m. for any eligible family in Romeoville in need of food assistance.
Our pantry is open only to Romeoville residents so proof of residency and an ID must be shown upon sign-in each week. If you are a parishioner of St. Andrew and you find yourself in need of food assistance, you are more than welcome to come to the We Care Food Pantry also. Proof of residency is a utility bill with your name and address on it plus your Driver’s License or State of Illinois ID. That must be brought in each time you come for food assistance.
The Pantry is located at 219 Arlington. For further information, please contact Shirley Grzenia at (630) 945-1317. This is the new phone number to call for food pantry inquiries and assistance. Thank you and God Bless.
