What a difference a few weeks makes. Just about 3 weeks back, snow blanketed our area. Just about the time it melted it was time to mow already. With the arrival of spring also brings the focus on resurrection so let me wish you a happy Resurrection Sunday. Thank you LORD! April also brings a focus on upcoming summer activities which include camp planning and VBS training. These are still very important to the evangelism efforts of our churches. Please take advantage of both opportunities in the months ahead. The 20th will be an important day beginning early with our pastors prayer breakfast at SRBA at 8:00 am. That same evening we will have our spring Executive Board meeting at First Baptist of Sarcoxie. Disaster Relief volunteers, don't miss the regional training at First Baptist Kimberling City, MO. April 24-25th. It is time to recertify if you have not been to a training or call out in a while. It is with joy that I report to you that Colby Bridges is the new pastor at First Baptist of Jasper. Colby was li-censed by his home church of First Baptist Carthage last year. Shortly thereafter he began to supply preach Jasper and now they have made if official. Welcome Colby, Brittany, Bronx and Tide. By the way Colby will serve as our World Changers preacher this year. If your church would like to help feed the nearly 300 World Changers coming to Joplin June 15-19, please contact Diann Patterson at FBC Carl Junction 417-649-7037 or [email protected]. John Davidson is our pro-ject coordinator and would be interested in visiting with you about construction projects in your community. If you are able to help with some costs, World Changers can provide the labor. Thank you Bethany Baptist Church with $2,000 support for these projects. Well as you can see, there is much to do. If you are looking ahead, August 1-8 is the date we are planning to re-turn to Puebla Mexico. If you would like to join us in an evangelistic outreach.
