l On January 3, 2012, Mayor W. Kent Money officially resigned and the City Council appointed Scott L. Osborne to fill the remaining two years of his term. The Council showed unanimous support with their vote in favor of Osborne.

New Mayor, Scott Osborne, and his wife, Denice, are parents to four children and five grandchildren. He owns Osborne’s Engineering Supply Co. Inc., and Millennium III Properties. He is also co-owner of Vision Perfect Software Inc. Osborne sees the mayoral position as an opportunity to give back to his community and feels that South Jordan has a bright future with many opportunities for development. These opportunities

include the TOD (Transit Oriented Development) at the proposed FrontRunner Station, Daybreak, Towne Center, The District, and the Mountainview Corridor. “I look forward to working alongside the new City Council and City staff in developing this vision for the future of South Jordan,” says Osborne.
