For 17 years,Usher Raymond IV & Usher’s New Look (UNL) have led the charge to spark young minds.
On September 14th at the Stave Room in Atlanta, we will host our annual signature event. This year’s event will be an extraordinary experience as we introduce our new initiative – the “UNL Spark Lab”. We invite you to join us and take a peek at the world through the lens of a New Look youth to see how they identify their “Spark”, and discover pathways to success through education and leadership.
This year’s event will SPARK celebrities, elected officials, business leaders, community leaders and philanthropists to generate continued support of the life-altering work being produced by UNL’s programs.
Through creative performances and meaningful “TED” style testimonials with a world-renowned disruptive innovator, attendees to this year’s event will walk away transformed with wonder, awe and self-discovery, as they become exposed to cutting-edge technologies, and unlock “SPARKS” they never knew they had.
The 2016 DISRUP TIVATOR AWARD Honoree:
This award will be delivered to an international icon who has led the way in innovation through culture, education and technology. The honoree will deliver a 10-15 minute Ted-style talk regarding their journey to success, their spark and the role that innovation has played in their success.
