Connectors
Crimp Terminals (connector pins) come in two sizes for most pinball machines: .156” and .100” centers. This refers to the spacing between the center of each terminal when mounted on the circuit board. Trifurconterminals are excellent for high-current applications where overheated connectors need repair.

SIP SOCKETSThese single inline pin (SIP) machine pin sock-ets are the only chip socket you need to stock. They are ‘snappable’ to any length and canaccomodate any SIP or DIP (dual inline pin) ICfrom 2 to 40 pins. They are superior to conven-tional sockets because they allow access forsoldering between the rails on double-sided cir-cuit boards. They come in 20-pin strips.

Don’t operate your ballshooter with a worn or miss-ing rubber plunger tip. Theimpact of the steel shooterrod against the ball willmushroom the end of therod. Now it’s impossible toremove the rod without cut-ting it!
Never replace blownfuses with the wrong cur-rent or type! Fuses are de-signed into circutis so thatthey are damaged whensomething goes wrong, not expensive compo-nents. Always try to find outwhy a fuse has blownwhen replacing it.
