Free Nuremberg Service

The bus approach to the Christkindlesmarkt is continuously signposted directly to the Old Town:

Follow the „ZOB“ sign to the Central Bus Station in view of the main train station. Here – and, depending on the traffic volume, on the nearby overspill parking area – you will find enough space for your guests to embark and disembark! Service personnel on site will show you the way and decide with your bus team the pick-up time at the same location. No fees in Nuremberg!

For every bus guest Special brochure „Information for Guests“ with map and parking plan for marking pick-up points. Reduced admission at various Nuremberg museums if the brochure is presented!

Especially for the bus teamWhile waiting to pick up your guests: Free special bus parking site at the Bayernstraße (fairgrounds)! bistro (with toilet) right next to the Documentation Centre:

Free public transport (ÖPNV day ticket in the ci-ty zone) by street car no. 9, only 10 minutes to the main train station, from there on foot or with the U1/U11 to the „Lorenzkirche“ sub-way station near the Christkindlesmarkt.

When the bus arrives at the entrance to the special bus parking site (and only there!) the bus team receives a „Welcome Package“ containing vouchers for over € 25.

Day ticket for free public transport (ÖPNV).

Vouchers for 1 sausage in a bun and 1 cup of alcohol-free punch (redeemable at the Nuremberg Christ-kindlesmarkt). The mulled wine cup with the annual motif is our very personal Nuremberg souvenir

The Nuremberg Christkindlesmarkt, the showpiece of all Franconian and German Christmas markets, will enchant you with its unique atmosphere and location in the heart of the historical Old Town, but also with it traditional of-ferings and enticing regional specialties - and with the Nu-remberg Christkind, Tuesday to Friday around 3 pm!

International Christmas market flair at the nearby Sister Cities Market, with international items from over 20 sister cities and regions friendly with Nuremberg.

Only in Nuremberg: The Children‘s Christmas Market, a separate dreamland for „children large and small“ with attractive carnival rides and interactive stations. The Nuremberg Christkind also visits here, Tuesday to Friday always about 14.30 pm.

A „heavenly“ cultural program for large and small takes place in the Star House in the Holy Spirit House across the road, and on Tuesday and Thursday the Nuremberg Christkind also holds a fairytale hour here around 2 pm!
