Concentrate on the message

Rehearsal is the most required thing before giving a presentation

Analyze your audience

Analyzing your audienceWhat are their names, backgrounds, reasons for attending, etc

?

What are their big concerns ?

What do their objectives, or hot buttons, fears or attitude?

And more importantly…..

How much do they need?

During the presentation

Begin in your comfort zone

Give well prepared and small intro

Eye contact

Pitch or Tone

Substandard Grammar

Pronunciation

Articulation

Rate of speech

Emphasis

Vocalized pauses ( um, ah, you know, I mean, oh, like)

Eye contact is also an essential part while making a communication

Never let your audience go out of your sight

Looking in their eyes makes them feel they are influenced by what you say

Body LanguageDo not stay in the same place, and also do not rock or sway

Do not lean on wall or table or stand too very close to the mice

Do not use a single gesture repeatedly or cross your arm

Do not chew gum or candy

Do not bite or examine your fingernails or crack your knuckles.

Do not click or tap your pencil or pen or pointer or shuffle your notes repeatedly

Pause and Think

Credit the person for asking the question

Respond to the question honestly and in the best way you can

Head on to the next question by asking them “Does that answer your question?", "Is that the kind of information you were looking for?“

THE RULE- Never argue with any member of the audience.
