Wednesday, January 18, 2017: The Importance of MLK to the Latino Civil Rights Movement Wednesday, January 25, 2017: Ice Breakers and Time Management Strategies * Latino Students and Friends Association (LSFA) is committed to empowering Latinas/os by extending knowledge of Latin heritage and culture to our student body. * The Chicago School of Professional Psychology prides itself in having cultural awareness as a priority and LSFA commits to honoring that by hosting events that educates, encourages students to dive into the rich cultures of Latin America, and immerses students in Latina/o communities off campus. OUR MISSION * Increase awareness of the social, political, historical, and cultural aspects of Latinos within the U.S. and abroad; * Provide opportunities for leadership, team- building and collaboration with other entities within and outside of the TCSPP community; * Actively promote and connect with others interested in Latino cultures and initiatives.
