SPANDAN 2K15 Report

This year DJMIT organized “SPANDAN 2K15- A Cultural Event of DJMIT” on 4th April,2015. This was

the last day in the chain of celebration for three consecutive days from 2nd April, 2015-3rd April,2015

Technopolis 2K15, a technical event & SPANDAN 2K15 on 4th April,2015 respectively.

The Chief Guest for SPANDAN was Shri Jasvant Sinh Solanki, Member, Gram Panchayat, Anand

District. Honorable Chairman Shri Narendra Shrimali was the chief patron & respected Principal Prof.Dr.

Archana S. Nanoty was the Patron for the event.

The event started with the lightening of Lamp followed by floral welcome of the guests on the dais. Shri

Narendra Shrimali welcomed the chief guest for the evening with a bouquet & memento. Respected

Principal Madam welcomed Honorable Chairman sir with a bouquet & SPANDAN coordinator Prof .

Yoothika Patel welcomed Respected Principal madam with a bouquet.

The chief guest encouraged students with his warm speech, respected chairman sir shared words of

wisdom with the students & alumni & respected principal madam graced the occasion with her

motivational speech.

Nearly 700 students & alumni were present. Also teaching & non-teaching staff were the part of

audience for the evening.

The program started with the alumni group photo session with alumni students ,Chief Guest, Chairman

Sir , Principal Madam & all Heads of the Department. The Alumni’s were felicitated with the welcome

gift. The program was hosted by students named Haresh Devjani & Happy Shah during the first session.

All the Directors, special guests, faculties & parents graced the occasion with their presences. The

program started at 6:00 P.M & ended at 9:30 P.M. Nearly 65 students from all branches participated in

various events which included Dance, Singing, Skit, Anchoring, Mimicry & other extra talent activities.

The program was concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Ruchi Shah, Student coordinator

for SPANDAN 2K15 followed by committee walk of all students members for various events. All stood for

up for National Anthem at the end of SPANDAN

The convener for Technopolis 2K15 was Prof. Arpit Mehta Sir, Training Placement Officer at

DJMIT. Prof. Anirudha Singh & Prof. Nitesh Barot were the co-coordinators for Technopolis & SPANDAN.

Prof. Yoothika Patel was the overall co-ordinator for SPANDAN 2K15.
