Lottie Moon was born in Virginia on December 12, 1840. She was named Charlotte Digges Moon, but everyone called her "Lottie." In 1873, she obeyed God's call to go to China to share the gospel. Lottie spent most of her years in China living like the Chinese people, and sharing Christ’s love with them. She often made personal sacrifices to help the Chinese. When there was not enough food for the people, Lottie gave away her food. She ate so little that she suffered from malnutrition, became very ill, and on Dec. 24th, 1912 passed away. She was 72 years old. This is why we have the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering ® for International Missions. Missionaries lead lost people to Christ daily. All proceeds from the offering go to help these missionaries do the work of the Lord. Our GA’s have a chart in the foyer. Each week, we will update the offering amount received. Our church goal is $2,500. Let’s help fill our world with the Love of Christ! The Pastoral Search Committee is presenting Rev. Charles Trantham for the position of Full-Time Associate Pastor.
