STANDARD OPERATING PRACTICE WEATHERFORD RIG 829 SOP # 829-019 Revision 0 RIG OUT THE MUD TANKS AND PUMPS Date: People: AD, derrickman, roustabouts, crane operators, truck drivers, truck push. Equipment: Hammers, 2 safety belts and lanyards, 2 cranes and rigging. Location: Mud tanks and pumps . Practice: 1. The derrickman and any helpers he can get disconnect the mud lines between the mud tanks. Start at the cooling tank as it is the first load required at the new location. Hammer the unions loose and slide the pipes back in to the tanks and tighten the unions back up so nothing fall out on the move. Unpin and secure all the spreaders. 2. The electrician and his helpers disconnect all cables between the tanks, leave the lights til last. 3. Rig out the manifold lines if not complete. Lay the degasser over with the crane and skid away. This can be loaded out at any time. Load out the manifold to give access to the cranes. 4. Remove the flow line. 5. Remove the line for the tank degasser. 6. Remove the stairs from the floor to the cooling tank and make sure to rope off the opening to the hand rails at the rig floor. 7. Break the unions on the suction lines to the pumps and slide them into the tanks and tighten the unions up. 8. Fold down the lights using the crane as necessary. 9. Load out the cooling tank. 10. Remove the handrails that meet between the shaker tank and tank 2. Remove the easiest ones, only one on each side where the tanks join needs to be removed. If 1

RIG OUT THE MUD TANKS AND PUMPS

Date: People: AD, derrickman, roustabouts, crane operators, truck drivers, truck push. Equipment: Hammers, 2 safety belts and lanyards, 2 cranes and rigging.Location: Mud tanks and pumps.Practice:

1. The derrickman and any helpers he can get disconnect the mud lines between the mud tanks. Start at the cooling tank as it is the first load required at the new location. 11. Remove the gratings between the tanks. Men doing this will wear safety belts anchored to keep back from the open spaces. Slide the gratings onto the shaker tanks and secure them.

12. Set the stairs to the centrifuge on the number 2 tank and secure for the move. Load out the centrifuge.

13. Remove the handrails and the gratings between tanks 2 and 3 as above steps.14. Load out tank 2.15. Load out the fire pumps.16. Load out the water tanks.17. Remove the stairs from tank 3 and set them on the tank, and secure.18. Remove the gratings from between tanks 3 and 5 and slide them onto tank 3 and

secure for the move.

19. Load out tank 3. 20. Remove the bleed off lines and the safety valve lines using the crane and secure

the lines for the move.21. Remove the gratings from between tanks 4 and 5.22. Load out tank 4.23. Load out tank 5, then 6.24. Remove the discharge hoses from the mud pumps at the discharge manifold end

and secure them to the mud pumps using the crane. Remove the hoses from between the discharge manifold and the sub with the crane.

25. Load out the discharge manifold and the mud pump suitcases.26. Load out the mud pumps and the matting. 27. All these loads go to the new location and are spotted as they arrive.
