Singing in the RainDrama at Franklin
This winter, middle school teachers Mrs. Portillo and Mrs. Parmley, areoffering an after school drama enrichment program to middle school
students, sponsored by the PTC! 22 students have been meetingThursdays and Fridays after school, learning lines, practicing dances and
planning costume and set design.
Performances for Singing in the Rain will be held in the gymnasium onFriday, February 24th @ 6:00 pm and Saturday, February 25 @ 1:00pm.

Ask your K-5th students about their trip to the science lab last week! Lastweek, STARNova came to Franklin and offered Inventor's Club, a science
enrichment program. Your kids learned how to build boats and how to make
them take on as much weight as possible, and the mechanics of building awater pump. Let us know what you think!
