Why you should attend: The SMSC conference aims to highlight the contribution of spiritual, moral ,social and cultural education (smsc) to institutional strategic mission, equality and diversity, inspection, curriculum delivery and support for students. SMSC education is crucial in preparing young people as future citizens and employees. Using plenary sessions, round table discussions and good practice workshops we aim to make SMSC a key part of learner and employee development.

How your college can benefit: The conference will provide opportunities for delegates to hear and discuss with speakers, college managers and students;

♦ the importance of smsc development for students and institutions

♦ the place of smsc education in the curriculum

♦ smsc and its relationship with other sector priorities including Every Child Matters, Equality and Diversity, citizenship, staff and student well-being, and community cohesion.

Who should attend: This conference is designed for;

College Principals, Governors, Senior Managers, Equality and Diversity Managers, Curriculum Managers, Student Support and Tutorial Managers, College Chaplains, Representatives of faith communities and Delegates from FE stakeholder institutions.
