The last major steel beam to be removed from the debris….many of those working on the site wrote memorializing things on this beam

On the ground floor of the museum, you can see what remains of the giant steel box beams which vertically supported one of the buildings. They were cut as part of the cleanup process since they go down to the bedrock.

Another picture of one of the fountains. Part of the museum is directly below one of the fountains. When you cross over the box beam cutouts you actually enter underneath the space where one of the buildings once stood.
