What is School of Kingdom Life?

School of Kingdom Life: A DVD Course (SKL) is acourse offered by SOKA. It is available to anyone witha heart to pursue the supernatural naturally! This is atraining program offered as a series of modules, usingteaching from Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry,in Redding USA.The teaching sessions run in conjunction with QLDschool terms and are designed to be practical,interactive and taught in community. They are aimed atempowering students to apply what they are learning totheir daily lives - this is all about life in the Kingdom!SKL is designed to encourage and empower studentsto pursue a supernatural lifestyle. The vision of SOKAis to make training in supernatural ministry available toeveryone, regardless of schedules and circumstances -we encourage anyone with a heart for the things of theSpirit to make this course a priority!

What is the Format?

SKL runs as a series of 7 modules over the course of ayear. Each module is 4 sessions in length, taught 1night per week for 4 weeks. Sessions run for 3 hours.The course is DVD-based, with the teaching materialcoming directly from Bethel Church. Each 4-weekmodule will also include small group discussion andpractical activation, life application, and individualdevelopment.

What ore the options?

With this option, students may attend as many oras few modules as they wish.The Full Program is 28 Sunday night or Monday Morningsessions in total, depending on whether students elect toundertake Stage One or Stage Two modules (see below forfurther details).Students who choose individual modules will attend 4sessions per module selected. Please note that somemodules carry a pre-requisite requirement.

What does SKL involve?Whether students select the Full Program, or choose toattend individual modules, each session will include:

DVD Teaching, with exceptional teaching fromspeakers such as Bill Johnson, Danny Silk, KrisVallotton, Dann Farrelly and Che Ahn

Small Group Activation and Discussion Life Application. This will take the form of weekly

practical assignments such as journaling, prayercrafting, writing testimonies, prayer walking, faithchallenges and short reading assignments. Theseshort assignments are designed to complement theteaching material, and will be developed together insmall groups.


SKL Stage One

SKL Stage One comprises the first 7 modules of the SKLcourse. It offers 2 options: the Full Program, wherestudents do all 7 modules over a year; and also, the optionto select individual modules to suit students' availabilitiesand areas of interest. Please note that several modulescarry pre-requisites.Stage One in 2011 will usually run on Sunday Nights from5.300pm - 8.30pm and Monday Mornings 9.00am -12.00Noon. (See pages 8-10 for variations in time.)

SKL Stage Two

Stage Two is the second 7 modules from the Bethel Schoolof Supernatural Ministry, and runs in the same way as SKLStage One. The Stage Two modules come from later in theBethel curriculum and so build on the earlier modules.Stage Two also offers 2 options: the Full Program,including all 7 modules; or alternatively, selecting one ormore individual modules.Students must have successfully completed at least onemodule from Stage One in order to be eligible to enrol in aStage Two module. Please note that, as with Stage One,several modules carry pre-requisites (including prerequisitemodules from Stage One).

Stage Two will be offered in 2012

Students can sign up for SKL stage one by completing therelevant registration form, enclosed in this booklet andhanding it directly to Pastors Mike or Greg. It can bemailed, faxed, emailed as well.
