• The biggest mistake that you can make is to forget to do your research
• Bare Minimum:
• Know about the person interviewing you
• Understand the position you’re going for
• Research the company’s mission

• Utilize LinkedIn to learn about your interviewer’s background & specialties (use those as talking points)
• Scour through the company’s website to determine culture, mission, and current events

• The only way to get better at anything, is to practice.
• Interviewing is no different
• Run through common interview questions with a friend, or alone in a mirror.
• Be as genuine as possible. Don’t memorize generic answers you find online.

• This is just as important as any research or work experience you may have.
• You only have one chance to make a first impression, so make sure you make the best one possible

• Always be as professional as possible (better to be overdressed than under)
• But, keep company culture in mind.
• Determining a culture-fit is a huge part of the interview process, so use your research time to determine clothing as well
• No matter what, make sure your outfit is clean, properly fitted, and pressed.
