Lodge Activities
WE NEED YOUR HELP!!! Most of the events, fundraisers, programs at our lodge are put
on by volunteers. Most times a general request for help is asked at meetings, dinner or
in the newsletter and to many times the request goes unanswered. So please consider
stepping up and volunteering to help your lodge with our many functions to help us
provide these events to our youth, our veterans ,our members and our community.
Contact any officer if you need details on a function at the lodge.
Elks -One Big Family!
A Report from our Esteemed Leading Knight – Dennis Gates
Come out and enjoy the Elks. Invite a friend to enjoy activities and then to join the Elks.
If you have any suggestions to improve what we do, bring it to the house committee meeting on the
third Tuesday or visit with a lodge officer.
We are open to suggestions and ideas.
Become involved and volunteer to help with activities.
Fraternally,
Dennis Gates, Esteemed Leading Knight

MARK YOUR CALENDARS---- INVITE YOUR FRIENDS!
A Report from our Lodge Esteemed Lecturing Knight – Kelly McQueen
Hello fellow Elks! We are once again collecting deer hides to be given to veteran homes. The box will
be outside the Elks. Please encourage anyone you know that hunts to bring their hides down. Also, if
you would like to volunteer to assist with picking up and salting the hides, I would take any help I can
use. It's really quite an easy job and one that doesn't take long at all. It would be great to see some
new people helping out and getting involved, even if it's just one time!
Thank you!
Fraternally,
Kelly McQueen
