CALL TO ARMS:
If you are able, please make an effort to daven consistently with your
community minyan, especially for the late Mincha during the week.
There are three reasons why you should do this at the Community
Shul:
1) We have members who are saying kaddish and need a minyan and
“lo aleynu” we might need them to help us say kaddish for a loved
one.
2) It is a more preferred davening in halacha if you have a makom ka-
vuah (regular place).
3) If you daven somewhere else you have at least a moral obligation to
support that shul or institution.
MAKE A GOOD MOVE:
1 hour before mincha, your teenage boy can improve his chess game
under the tutelage of Rabbi Cohen.
ARE YOU IN THE BOX?
We still have a few remaining boxes for all members of the Communi-
ty Shul (man or woman – one per family) you have become entitled to
a private storage space in one of the beautiful new boxes in the library
generously made and donated to the shul by Mark Judaken. Please
contact Miryum to get your assigned box.
PUT SOME SEDER IN YOUR NIGHT:
Beginning June 17th we will have a daily 30 minute guided learning
night Seder after Maariv from 8:30 pm – 9:00 pm for you and your son
in the Community Shul. This is a perfect way to end the day with quali-
ty learning time for you, or your son, or both. Learning suggestions
welcome!
THANK YOU
-To Bijan Ghanouni for donating extra fruits & vegetables to the shul.
-To Daniel Suriel for delivering this week’s Tomchei Shabbos route.
MAZEL TOV -To Yonah Russak on his Bar Mitzvah!
