Pastor’s Message We rejoice at the news that Bishop Alberto Rojas will be visiting our parish. The purpose of his pastoral visit is to formally install Fr. Resti Galang as our pastor. The formal installation of a pastor signals the official entrustment of the parish by the bishop to the care of the assigned pastor. He will accept publicly the task of exercising the pastoral care of the community committed to him under the authority of the diocesan bishop. The canonical installation ceremony, which also includes the introduction of the Parish Council, Finance Council, and Parish Staff, will happen within the 11:00 a.m. mass on Sunday, October 17. In addition, since Bishop Rojas will be with us, we deem it fit that he blesses our Fatima Shrine as well. Surely, it will be a beautiful occasion to witness the head of our diocese presiding over the blessing rite of the shrine at 10:15 a.m. before the installation mass. There will be a simple and safe reception that follows after the mass. Everyone is cordially invited! Let us be one not only in witnessing the installation of our pastor and the blessing of the shrine, but also in having one mind and heart in thanking God for the many blessings that the parish has received through the years.

Nos alegra la noticia de que el Obispo Alberto Rojas estará visitando nuestra parroquia. El propósito de su visita pastoral es instalar formalmente al P. Resti Galang como nuestro Pastor. La instalación formal de un Párroco, indica la encomienda oficial de la parroquia por parte del Obispo, al cuidado del Párroco asignado. Aceptará públicamente la tarea de ejercer el cuidado pastoral de la comunidad que le ha sido encomendada, bajo la autoridad del Obispo diocesano. La ceremonia de instalación canónica, que también incluye la presentación del Consejo Parroquial, el Consejo de Finanzas y el Personal de la Parroquia, se llevará a cabo dentro de la Misa de las 11:00 AM el Domingo 17 de Octubre. Dado que el Obispo Rojas estará aquí, creemos conveniente que bendiga también nuestro Santuario de Fátima. Sin duda, será una hermosa ocasión para presenciar al director de nuestra diócesis, presidir el rito de bendición del Santuario a las 10:15 AM antes de la Misa de instalación. ¡Todos están cordialmente invitados! Seamos uno, no solo en presenciar la instalación de nuestro párroco y la bendición del Santuario, sino también en tener una sola mente y corazón para agradecer a Dios por las muchas bendiciones que la parroquia ha recibido a través de los años.

Youth Ministry & Faith Formation Classes

Registration for Faith Formation Classes starts July 6th Hello Parish Families, We are so excited that you are seeking to deepen your faith for your child and your family. Faith formation can sound like a technical term, but in a single line we could say faith formation is simply: equipping people to live as disciples of Jesus. That is our hope at St. Margaret Mary’s. We hope to join you on your journey of becoming a dis-ciple of Jesus. This means we are excited to help you and your children: • Fall in love with Jesus. • Live as disciples of Jesus at home, at work, and in the community. • Develop an understanding of the Bible and the Catholic faith tradition. • Deepen your spiritual life and practices. • Engage in service and mission to the world. • Participate in the life and ministries of our faith community.

Covid Update Now that the Covid restrictions are easing, it is our plan to return to in-person learning for the fall of 2021. Rest assured, we know the importance of our loved ones, so every decision will have the safety of our families as our top priority.

Registration Starts July 6th The Faith Formation office is now open with limited summer hours. Registration for the 2021-2022 season starts July 6th. If you would like to fill out the registration form, please go to our website. Under the heading Faith Formation you will see the title online registra-tion. When you click the online registration title you will find more information about registering and you will find the link to our online registration form. The registration form will be the pink box as noted below. You can also sign up for faith formation classes by stopping in our faith for-mation office. Office hours are listed below for your convenience. Program Cost: Family with one child: $100 / per year Family with two or more children: $150 / per year Retreats and Extra Materials (Due to possible changes, money will be collected at a later date) For families making 1st communion: $25 workshop fee Confirmation year 1 retreat: $15 per student Confirmation year 2 & 3 retreat: $160 per student / per year
