SESSION PLAN
Session Aims: (Your intentions)
- To introduce students to digital photography and imaging
- To change the way that students think, use, and perceive photography
Specific Outcomes: (What you intend the students to achieve in this session)
- Discover new techniques and ideas within digital photography
- To develop students knowledge of existing photographers
- To begin to analyse and look deeper in to existing photographic work
- To question the way that they look at the world (on a purely visual level)
Previous Knowledge Assumed
- Basic I.T. skills: some experience of using a digital camera
Materials and Equipment Required
- Digital camera for each student
- One computer with PowerPoint and internet access
- A digital projector
Assessment/Work to be set
- During the session students will be required to take photographs within the classroom using the techniques they have learnt. We will then assess the success of these images as a group.
