Two weeks intensive training on a 210MW fossil fired Power Plant real time simulator at NPTI (WR), Nagpur.

The Simulator is a real time and process replica of 210 MW Thermal Power Plant unit having Boiler of Combustion Engineering Design and Turbine of KWU design. It has Operational facilities of Data Acquisi-tion System (DAS), Automatic Turbine Run up System (ATRS), Automatic Turbine Tester (ATT), Turbine Stress Evaluator (TSE), and Group Sequence etc. The design data for the simulator has been taken from Khaperkheda Thermal Power Station (Unit I) (MSEB).

SIMULATOR TRAINING ATTENDED

The 210 MW Thermal Power Plant Simulator of National Power Training Institute (NPTI) Nagpur is supplied by M/S Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) Hyderabad with the software support from General Physics International (GPI), U.S.A.

The design data for our simulator has been taken from Khaperkheda Unit Maharashtra State Electrical Board Ltd. (2x210MW) & DEWA Simulator Training TELEPERM-XP in Progress from 2008 (3X260MW- K STATION COMBINE CYCLE PLANT).
