Sentence Structure - Applied Writing Grades 2 - 12 & SPED Professional Development Workshops Students with dyslexia, dysgraphia and other learning disabilities routinely face great challenges in writing. Creating rich sentences is a necessary and basic skill in writing which many lack. The Project Read Written Expression curriculum teaches the fundamentals of sentence writing. This curriculum uses 8 unique graphic symbols to illustrate the sentence parts and their function. The instructional strategies blend creative freedom and accuracy with direct multisensory skill instruction. The instructional strategies encourage creative freedom and accuracy with direct multi-sensory instruction. This program is appropriate for use in general or special education classes.
