The round top of the Sensa radiator is unique. Quinn Radia- tors is the sole producer of this radiator from a single folded pressed panel. The smooth rounded top does not have a sharp vertical weld seam making it a natural choice in the home or office. Furthermore this type of radiator is available without con- vection fins for optimal hygiene, making the Sensa radiator an ideal solution for use in schools, hospitals, healthcare centres or nursing homes. The Sensa radiator in RAL9016 has the highest heat emis- sion on average per m 2 on the market. The excellent yield is possible because of the unique concept of pressing the panels. By using narrower (25mm) and more closely ar- ranged water channels, more convection fins can be at- tached to the panels. These are welded directly to each water channel, which causes an exponential increase of heat emission. Furthermore, relatively little water runs through the narrow water channels . The radiator heats up faster and consequently more rapidly emits heat to the en- vironment. In addition the welded hanging brackets gua- rantee a more discrete hanging profile on installation. These metal suspension brackets (1.5mm thickness) are a standard accessory for all panel radiators (1). Type 10 radiators are supplied with wider brackets (2). This makes it pos­sible for these radiators to be fixed to the wall at the same position as Type 11 radiators.

Assembly condition for suspension brackets Type L: installation of the brackets on the lugs is done by preference between the waterways and not against them. The brackets come equipped with a plastic insert that muffles sound and absorbs shocks (3). Anti-lift devises (4) can be ordered optionally. These prevent the upward movement from light types of radiators combined with plastic pipes.

Types The Quinn Sensa radiator is available in type 10, 11, 20, 21, 22 and 33.

Paint Quinn uses a painting procedure that is used in the car in­dustry. All Quinn radiators have been fully treated against rust.

Firstly, they are degreased. Then a water-based electropho­retic base coat is applied . After this, the radiators are enamelled with an epoxy polyester powder, reference RAL 9016. The total thickness of the paint coat is at least 60 microns. This painting procedure protects the radiators against rust, damage and scratching .

Colour Our standard final coat is the semi-shining RAL 9016 (white) in epoxy-polyester powder.

Heat outputs The heat outputs from the Quinn Sensa radiator vary be­tween 127W and 5944W - at ~TSO (75/65/20°C following EN 442), dependent on the dimensions and the type.

Heights The Quinn Sensa radiator is available in heights from 300mm to 900mm.

Widths The different widths go from minimum 400mm to maxi­mum 3000mm.

Tolerance in dimensions All dimensions have a tolerance in compliance with the EN 442-2 standard .

Accessories The included brackets Type L are easily accessible from the outside of the packaging and guarantee a discrete moun­ting . Air vent and blank are included inside the packaging .

Materials

The Quinn Sensa radiators are manufactured from high quality cold rolled steel.

Working pressure All radiators are pressure tested at 13 bar and are suitable for a working pressure up to 10 bar. The maximum water temperature is 90°C (according to the EN 442-2 standard)

Steel thickness All Quinn radiators are produced with high quality cold rolled steel following the EN 442-1 norms. Quinn guaran­tees a minimal thickness of the steel of 1.25mm for a fin­ished radiator. The thickness of the steel adds up to 1.19mm. The radiator is finished with a paint layer of minimum 60 microns (RAL9016), ensuring the total thickness of the ra­diator plates is minimum 1.25mm.

Connections All radiators are supplied with 4 x Y2" connections.

Packaging In order to avoid any damage during transport and storage, the four sides of each radiator are protected with card­board . The packaging contains a complete assembly kit, which ensures an easy and quick installation.

lt is not necessary to remove the packaging for installation. Therefore the risk of damaging is extremely small.

Warranty The fabrication of Quinn radiators is realised in accordance with the ISO 9001 standards . We offer a 10-year guarantee. The heat emissions were determined in accordance with the EN 442-2 standard (base 75/65/20°C). All radiators have been tested and approved by renowned institutes.

Notice The base should be suitable to support the weight of the radiator and should be checked by a qualified professional/ engineer/architect.
