I made the phone call that really counted. My first impression of Senior Helpers could not have been better. Ms. Marie Diaz [Director of Operations] responded immediately to my call and was already gathering information to make the right fit between the home health aide and my Dad. Then she personally came to my home to discuss all my concerns and needs for Dads care; and already had some home health aides in mind that she thought might work out based on our needs. Marie was always available by phone and always attentive to our needs. We hired Ms. Rosario Schneider, and it has been a wonderful experience. She is a caring, well-trained home health aide. Rose has a great sense of humor and an upbeat personality, which is so important for my Dad, who loves to have a good laugh. I never had to worry when Rose was with my Dad. She took excellent care of him. I am sorry to say that my Dad can no longer stay at home, but will be entering the Veterans Memorial Home in Paramus by the end of March.Edit - DeleteMilkoK - Feb 3, 2011In this high tech, pulsating world in which we live, it is so good to see humanity and warmth -- and that is what you get with Senior Helpers. In a society where unfortunately indifference, bad customer care, and automated responses have come to be the norm, Senior Helpers stands as a beacon in the night or day. I always got to talk with a 'real' person and I was daily informed by a 'real' person as to how things were going with my mother. She supported us so very, very well.All the staff, Dawn, Kadena, Rosa, and Loida, were all great. They all took care of Dad as if he was their own. Their updates to my brother, my sister and myself were all very much appreciated. They did a great job to make sure that Dad was comfortable and provided good advice for us.
