Seminar● You will plan and lead a seminar for a group

that needs to hear your message.● Your seminar should run at least 30 minutes

long.● You will include a learning target, a do-now,

and an exit slip so that you can provide evidence of your students’ learning.

Local Campaign● You will find and participate in a local

campaign related to your topic.● You will attend at least two events or

meetings, and you’ll get involved with the campaign in a way that will help them.

● You will create a photo essay to document your experience.

Online Campaign● You will create a website with resources

about your topic for a specific audience.● You will promote your project using social

media.● You will collect data to prove that your

website is effectively reaching your target audience.

connection with your topic• Should be a reflection of your research and

be a part of the impact that you hope to cause

• Should be able to be used by the audience that you identified or are targeting in your work

Volunteer Hours• These hours must have a direct impact on

the topic that you are researching• This is volunteering with a purpose, not just

showing up to lend a helping hand• Volunteering at a place to provide help

because you have identified a real need through your research is the goal
