five-piece drawer head, hidden or exposed hinges, beaded moulding as well as a 1" thick frame and door option (shown on page 9) to appeal

to the most discerning homeowners. Insets are available in our standard finishes offering, including opaques, and are a classic indicator of

fine craftsmanship.

Glaze treatments enhance the beauty of any door that features detailed profiling, subtle rope definition, raised or beaded paneling.

The effect can be subtle or strong, depending on the stain or paint and glaze combination, creating a look that is uniquely your own.

Nearly every stain is offered with your choice of light or dark glazes. Each of the doors to the right began with a Mandarin stain on cherry, which is shown unglazed on the left. The center door features a dry coffee glaze; notice this door has a very similar tonal appearance to the unglazed door. Dry glazes are intended only to highlight and accentuate the door’s profiles. The wet, onyx glaze on the third door deepens the overall tone of the underlying stain, creating a new finish look as well as profile highlights. Ask your Designer to see actual wood color chips and door samples to make the decision that’s right for your home.

4 DISTRESSING Random dents and rasped edges vary in size and shape just as they do in well-worn antiques.

2 SPECKLING Spatters of transparent black speckles capture the authentic look of age.

3 SAND THROUGH/EDGING This Vintage Touch combination of effects reproduces natural wear showcasing profiles that are sanded before and after finish revealing the underlying wood, a grey toned edging softens the look and completes the aged appeal.

1 WORM HOLES Elliptical holes applied by hand in random clusters. Extremely realistic.

5 LIGHT SAND OVER The gentle sanding of profiles prior to finish on Antiquing leaves the stain intact and simulates gentle wear without revealing the wood beneath.

* With the Antiquing technique all effects are applied prior to finish. The Vintage Touch technique applies some of the effects prior to finish and some after the stain or opaque is applied.

A N T I Q U I N G creates heirloom appeal by using lighter & fewer effects than Vintage Touch. The antiqued look of natural wear is achieved

by lightly sanding and softening profiles, applying realistic looking worm holes, light dents & chiseling with randomly scraped profiles.

All special effects are applied prior to finish. The underlying wood is not exposed with this technique.

V I N T A G E T O U C H creates vintage appeal by randomly distressing the wood with dents, rasping, speckling, applying worm holes, and

features the sand over of profiles before and after finish exposing the underlying wood. A gray toned edging is applied to soften the exposed

areas creating a look that simulates the natural wearing of wood resulting from years of use.

stroke. Applied by hand, this finish creates unparalleled depth and movement to the final product. Finish combinations present looks that

a unique shimmer. It is applied to the entire exterior unit, not only doors and drawers. This gentle layer of frosting is so distinctive that we recommend
